Default If only card companies would only start making EPL/Seria A/La Liga cards..

Match Attax are absolute garbage, Topps UK is an absolute joke, and Futera are a huge risk factor because the majority of them are fake, and MLS is jsut an all around terrible league. How many of you would start collecting european football/soccer if card companies were to add hobby boxes of the real leagues? I know I would, I would be collecting that and nothing else. the only downfall of this coming out is all my money would be going into the hobby

I would.

But until some decent European products come along I'll continue to collect a little MLS here and there. Yes I know MLS sucks ass but there have been some good players come over such as Valderrama, Ljungberg, Henry, Márquez, Frings, Nesta and of course Beckham, even though he was massively overrated.

if Topps did an EPL set like they did with MLS this year, I would absolutely be in for a case of it.

I have zero interest in the MLS set, except for the 1978 insert set, because I like that design and I have a complete set of the original '78 English set from that year.

COYS!

pawned off on you? we sold him to City and then you bought him from city for some odd reason. Absolutely not, we will keep Bendtner before bringing that traitor back, I have been following Arsenal since the 1997/98 season when i told my family i wasn't going to fall onto the ManU bandwagon (even though my English side are originally from Manchester) and i have never seen a bigger traitor than him, hes the last player i'd buy. I'd have arms open wide for RVP, Nasri, Clichy together before him. Besides we got Gonzalo Higuain coming now

yes, I know. but things always seem to conspire against Spurs.

kind of like that West Ham end of season game a few years back, some Gooner MUST have poisoned Levy to make him have temporary insanity and buy Ade. He's a Gooner "spy" conspiring to keep Spurs down

Seriously though, on the subject of EPL, next year's race for the top 4 is shaping up to be pretty epic.

i think United are going to step back a bit during the transition. City and Chelsea will be up there of course. Arsenal will be improved. With Paulinho and some other rumored candiates coming, and Bale still on board for one more year (hopefully), Spurs will be better. And I think with a couple astute buys Liverpool will be much improved. they were playing very well the second half of the year and that kid Coutinho (sp?) looks like a real find.

it could be a real nasty dogfight for those top 6 spots next season. Should make it real fun.

oh, and one more thing....is there anything more boring than being a ManU fan?

Oh, look, they won again.
Oh, look, they bought all the best players in the world again.

Yawn!

Yea, winning's great....who doesn't want to win? But sports are entertainment. Real life drama. The best reality show. Where's all of that when the outcome is already known?

i'd take being a Spurs fan over ManU ANY day. I never know each Saturday if my team is going to score 3 goals in 7 minutes and beat City.

or not score at all and lose to Wigan.

when Spurs make the CL and beat up on Inter, it MEANS something.

THAT's drama for you. And way more fun.
