Default Murray Wins at Wimbeldon!

Surprised this hasn't been brought up yet!

Andy Murray won today at Wimbeldon in straight sets over Djokovic. Pretty big win, as he's the first British champ in 75+ years!

Congrats to Murray, and to the Brits. You've finally got a champ!

I'm pretty sure his endorsement deals just went through the roof in the UK.

Congrats to Murray for finally slaying his demon and giving the UK something to talk about other than a baby!

I'm hearing he's going to make 50 million pounds as a result of the victory, Prime Minister says he should be knighted. All kinds of accolades coming his way, not to mention the worldwide sponsorships he'll recieve.

Nice timing for the Brits, the babies should be born any day now!

Rather than being excited because of the 70 year drought, i'm more happy that Murray won his first big one and to top it off it was against the #1 player in the world

Well he did win the US Open last year, though I'll agree with you if you are saying Wimbledon is bigger.
