South Korea is correct. The cards are part of a game that came as a folded sheet in a small box (you had to separate the cards), along with dice. The backs are all the same, showing Hulk Hogan. Year produced should be late 80's or early 90's.

Name of the game is Battle of the Titans. There are 52 cards, plus 3 instruction cards.

Wow. Good info. Thanks. Is there a checklist anywhere on line?

I may try to make a checklist for it this weekend while I have a set out. I need to figure out what year it is from.

A little off topic but what is considered Roddy Pipers rc? Does he have anything that is before 1985?

He has a card in the 1984 Deluxe Edition Superstar Pro Wrestling Game, but the card doesn't have a photo.

1988 WWF Canadian Quaker Dipps Box Ultimate Warrior Rookie Card BGS 9 Hulk Hogan | eBay

I got this in the mail today and I am very pleased with the purchase. The BGS holder is huge and is larger then my scanner's tray.

One of the issues that is going to make finding strong examples difficult is the fact that these are easily scratched. The other raw example I got has some minor scuffing that will hurt the grade. You can just imagine the damage that could occur from the factory to the grocery store to the shopping cart to the home.

This one is definitely mint and an excellent addition to my collection.

I can't imagine that there are too many of the full packages still around. The cut out cards are scarce enough as it is.

My first foray into wrestling cards a couple years ago I picked up a few 1990 classic printing plates on ebay, one of which was of the Ultimate Warrior (card #127 I believe). The seller listed quite a few of these printing plates, most of them went fairly cheap--I thought it was a good pick up at the time and it spurred my interest in further wrestling sets.

Here is a link to the pic of the 1990 Warrior plate from my photobucket:

Are the Quaker cards blank back? That printing plate is pretty cool. Nice pick up

No they have little lines to cut along and a short bio. I got a single from Husker's site but it is by no means gradable.

I have found his prices are low but you get what you are paying for and I have never gotten card from him that was even close to being worth sending in.

Not yet. I looks like there might be a date on it in Korean, but if there is a date, it could be in the Korean Calendar. I still need to do research on it.

Will try to figure out the year tonight, if I get the chance.

Looks like Korea uses 2 numbering systems, so I'll have to figure that out.

Korea uses the Gregorian calendar, so seems I won't need to translate between different calendar systems.

Found a Classic Ultimate Warrior #106 which had no copyright date on it (card from blister pack dated 1989)--are these more rare than other Classic cards, or do most of these Ultimate Warrior cards not have a copyright date?

Is there any premium ascribed to these "No copyright date" cards? Several of the cards in the blister pack had no copyright, including the Hogan #102, Savage #105, Snuka and Bushwackers

The no copyright date cards are much scarcer than the 1990 copyright cards.

The 1989 copyright date cards are scarcer than the no copyright cards, and usually in lesser condition, I think.

A premium can be expected for both, but you don't see either of them listed often.

Great research! What do the numbers in parentheses mean?

The numbers in parentheses means that number of cards have the same photo. The symbol and dice pictures changes from card to card, so cards not identical.

I just got this one in the mail this week and it is the 1990 version.

I can confirm that there is a 1989 version and will post scans when it arrives from New Zealand.

The 1989 version's photo has the Warrior's arm on the left cropped differently (extends longer).
