Very nice!!!

looks like the off-center was the only thing bringing it down to an 8

Awesome! I'm surprised this card hasn't gotten more fan fare. If the 88 sting card in a psa 9 sells for 50-100 then this has to be worth quite a bit more. They are very rare and its the first card of a pretty big name in wrestling. Definitely a winner IMO.

I think the reason the card hasn't gotten more fan fare is only two that I am aware of have popped up on EBAY in the four plus years I have been collecting wrestling cards.

These are very condition sensitive and I would think there has to be at least one Sting collector who would like to own this card and that is all it takes.

I put my other 1987 Sting on ebay where he is pictured with Windham but there is little doubt that the other one is thee Sting card to own from the 1987 test run set. I think that card can bring in a good amount. We will see.

Any coming to market should be nr-mint/mint siding closer to mint, as these were all distributed in sets.

It's the centering that should affect grades.

I think wrestlincardking's card above should have been graded at least 9 OC or maybe even 10 OC (I'm assuming the OC designation was requested to be withheld)

I purchased a few of the cards from Huskers site and there are none that are really worth sending in due to condition. The card stock on these is different then the 1988 set. Centering on many of the cards is horrible too.

I request no qualifiers when I send in cards but many do not. A PSA 9 OC is really a PSA 7and there are no 10's with qualifiers.

Card stock on the test run is way worse than the regular issue in my opinion.

The front card stock is exactly the same. I appreciate the cardstock on the back being different than the stardard set.

I'm talking about the outside surface of the cards.
