From that article I own half the cards listed.

I remember seeing that article.

What is amazing is that the 1982 Wrestling All Stars Hulk Hogan was left of the list.

The single greatest performing trading card in the past five years. A PSA 9 mint Hogan could be had for less then $100 at the time.

I got my first copy with the entire set for $199.

Default Trish on the Dec 2014 Beckett cover

Never thought that a wrestler would highlight the cover of the Beckett, but the December issue will have Trish Stratus on it.

if you check my photo albums on there, you can see i have a valentine card and a sticker in there. i dont chase the stickers or anything, but ill pick one up if i like it. the one i have, came with a figure and is pretty close to trading card size, so i picked that one up. the valentine, a local "second hand" store had boxes and boxes for .25 cents a box, so i said why not and got a box. i put one in an over sized top loader, and still have the rest in the box.

to see the entire collection in order, click on photos, then go to albums. the facebook feed doesnt show everything. the albums do, and i have it broken down by sets he appeared in, and then have a folder just for parallels.

I posted a comment. Clearly they didn't do much research on this one.

Here is what I wrote.

Sting’s first card is actually in the 1987 Wonderama Test Market set and is quite rare. Raw copies are in the $50 to $75 range and a graded PSA 8 sold for $500. If you are going to highlight a card from the 1988 Wonderama set you would naturally go with his base card #194. A year or so ago a PSA 10 sold for $600 on EBAY. His raw copies of all three cards from the 1988 set generally sell for a minimum of $7.50 and the base card can easily sell raw for more then that with copies going for $15 to $20 in many cases.

I just read this Beckett today. It seems to be a Chris Olds production. I wish there was more variety in writers.

I think a couple of years ago, Beckett had the 1986 Monty Gum Randy Savage card as one the wrestling "hot cards" of the month in the multi-sport guide. I know these top card articles are kind of off-the-cuff, but strange they didn't mention that one.

Time to Cry: If you open a pack and find the version of this card that doesn’t have a swatch and instead promises you an autograph, shed a few tears. Fleer went out of business years ago.

Don't I know it. Last year I bought a box of repackaged wrestling cards from Wal Mart. I hit a redemption for a Steve Austin Signature Moves Autograph card.

In the article it states he has only signed 10 different certified cards through the years. He has actually only signed for 2 sets. Maybe the 2012 set he only signed 10 copies but the Fleer set he definitely signed more than 10 cards. It wasn't even a rare card until recently.
