Default Dpeck100 2014 Collectors Club Renewal Submission.....

I am piecing together a renewal submission and will be posting scans of the cards I am sending in.

In one of my recent PSA/DNA submissions unfortunately my Wrestling All Stars cards were slabbed in the extra large holders so I am going to combine the two submissions. I am anxious to see the signed Wrestling All Stars in normal PSA slabs.

Here is the first of 15.

1987 WWF Topps Bret Hart

Here is the second card.

Three examples of the 1991 Ringlords with no Sample stamp on the back.

1991 WWF Swanson Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase.

This is the only card from the set I don't have graded and I hope it gets an 8 or higher.

The WWF Market Scene cards are super tough to find. I have never seen modern cards more beat up then these.

I have emailed with collectors in Australia and they have said that the cards were heavily played with and made remarks that people from New Zealand are essentially savages.

This is the 1989/1990 Ultimate Warrior

1985 OPC WWF Hercules Hernandez.

This is right at the top of the list of most difficult cards from this set. No one really collects it so it has little value but if one of these ever surfaces in high grade it has to be considered an extremely difficult card.

I am hoping this gets a 7.

Here they are.

There are some sharp looking cards in this group good luck! How many total do you think you are eventually going to piece together?

I personally have bought 2 boxes of the 85 opc series 2 and you are right, the herc card is crazy hard to get in even a 7. the OC is on every single card.

You get a voucher for 15 cards to get graded at the 7 business day service level.

I have very few cards left that I can send in for grading. Tons of raw material but I have picked through it pretty good.

There are a handful of the base cards from this set that are simply insane. I have nearly 40 raw examples of the Hercules Hernandez and this is the best one.

It is a money loser to send this in but I am getting closer to having every base card from the set and want one in a slab.

I do that sometimes, I sent in some LP backs from the 1954 Parkhurst set just to get a little closer to completion. Sometimes it is nice to zero in on a set rather than looking for the perfect card. Sometimes a card just fails to show.........

This is one set I would love to have in high grade. Not the most expensive set but not the cheapest either. Due to the very thin card stock and cards only coming 2 per pack, these cards are very difficult to get in 9's and 10's. It also have a very good checklist. I would not be surprised if high graded versions start bringing good money.

Here's the POP report:

1991 Swanson Wwf

I think 10's will be very tough due to the black borders, not to mention centering issues.

14% seems like a lot for PSA 10. Maybe only the best of the best get sent in and the numbers are skewed high.

I think the numbers are skewed due to the limited number of cards that have been sent in.

There will certainly be some of these that grade very high but a lot are in poor condition.

The Million Dollar Man came from sealed packs I recently bought. Every card but that one was warped even though they looked mint.

These cards are very thin and obviously have black borders which will make them tougher.

I think they are cool and a nice set from a time when wrestling meant everything to a young guy like me.

I met a guy from Canada about a year ago who sold me 2 unopened packs. He said he has close to 30 unopened packs, I am going to try and locate him to see if he is interested in selling them. The only problem is what kind of condition are the packs in? I mean they are 23 years old.

PSA Card Set Registry - dpeck100

Here are the scans.
Looks like white spots on the corners and centering knocking the cards down to 8.5's/9's, which is still pretty awesome grades for these cards.

Yes in general those are the two primary issues that plague these cards.
