Default 2001 SP authentic golf Case price

So the 2001 SP authentic Golf case went to $3000 on Monday.
What do you think it will top off at before we finally see a decline?
Any guesses.
If you had some, how do you decide when is the right time to sell??
If you had a Tiger Woods SP authentic rookie auto #ed900, what price would you sell at if you would sell at all??

I honestly do not think it will decline much if at all!

Does anyone know how many boxes of sp authentic were made?

this product wont decline until Tiger stops winning. So basically that is just never going to happen. What an investment if you have a case of this, hell even a box or 2 of this. Or even better the Tiger auto! If I did have any of these I would not be selling them now. Atleast wait until he breaks Jacks record. Then you will really see a jump up in price

I will never sell this case along with my 05/06 cup case.

There is a case of 01 SP Authentic Golf for auction at $2950 with 2 1/2 days to go!

Nice.

I'll sell mine at some point. What's the use of holding a case forever? I'd like to enjoy my windfall...but not for many years!

ready for a sad sad story? i bought 10 cases at the bottom which was around $400 per i think in 2003, and held for over 3 years expecting it to do what it is doing now. when nothing significant happened after that long i decided the money would be better off in BC MLB and sold it all to re-invest. think i got around $600-700/case in 2006/early 2007.

Owiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie

i can only guess what the ceiling is, but i would think the fact that tiger autos are somewhere between 1 in 500-1000 boxes would keep it in check at some point.

It is the intrigue of the sealed box and what may be inside it that keeps the boxes high.

I hope everyone in the world opens these.

That and I got back into the hobby during the 2006 FB and 06-07 Hockey Season! So I missed the boat on the 05-06 Hockey, 03-04 Basketball, etc. I got back into it during the 2006 Football season because of that Rookie class. That has proven to be lackluster. I then got into hockey...and now credit card companies love me!!!!

Vortek8, His cards have already taken HUGE jumps, so what do you mean by saying after he passes Nicklaus his cards will really take off? I think that has already happened,
