I was thinking if Tiger Lost today that the prices would cool a bit (They will still be insane just not $4000 a case)
I saw that a box of 04 Sp Sigs sold for $589 BIN the other day. I was going to list mine if Tiger could have won but I think now I will hold it till the Masters unless wax keeps selling this crazy.

I think it would take Tiger not winning another tourney this year for these cases to come down to any reasonable price. I believe the odds of pulling a Tiger RC are around 1 in 6-7 cases (but I could be wrong), so that's A LOT of $ to pay.

Brad's right. I busted two cases of this stuff when it first came out and pulled only two /900 rookie autos (not Tiger of course). I think there were five or six /900s in the set and they fall around one per case. Unless you love golf cards, the boxes are full of junk outside of a few hits, and I mean a few. Like most product, you're much better off buying the key card from someone who already did the work and save yourself some money, but back to the point of the post... a big wow to a golf product that outsells all other SPA issues other than 1998 football. That Tiger sure is sweet.

not sure what you mean by reasonable, but they will drop some now that he lost and everyone starts profit taking. probably see it go back to $3k/case or less.

obviously it will never be $33/box again, which is what i paid in 2003

i think it is much tougher than that. seen many cases without autos.

I just had an AWESOME mailday. I ordered 3 boxes of 01 Sp Auth Golf a few days before the explosion but they were still really CHEAP compared to the going rate then. I did not think I was going to see these boxes because a lot of places would have lied and said they were out but today I have them.
3 Boxes in hand for about 40% of what they are selling for now.
This feels really good considering I do not get lucky like this very often. I guess I will wait till Master weekend and list them and my 04 Sp Sigs Box and hope they fly!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually one auto /900 in every five-six cases. And I believe there are five or six of those, so you are talking one in every 30 cases to pull a Tiger. Wax cases are insanely overpriced.

I thought they were 1 auto /900 per case as well, not one every 5-6 cases. Maybe I was just lucky but that's the way they fell for me.
