Default Another World Cup Product???

I was thinking about this. With the success of the Panini Prizm World Cup product as well as the sticker collection, why wouldn't Panini do a sequel product. Maybe not a prism-like refractor set, but something involving the world cup? This time possible patches of the jerseys the players wore during the matches. Just a thought. What do you all think?

Maybe 4 years from now when the next World Cup is going on. After the games are over, no one will care about soccer cards except a select few.

Prizm prices have plummeted since the start of the world cup.

lol, did the guy behind Prizm soccer sleep with your wife?

I just sold 12 run of the mill numbered cards for over 200 bucks on ebay. If anything this product's value has held steady during the cup.

As far as the thread question goes I think another product is too much given the massive print run of this product, maybe for Russia 2018.

how about more football (soccer) products in genral, doesn't have to be just for the world cup, make more national team/league products just because it was such a hit

I'm just telling it like it is.

Considering you get 2 numbered cards per box you had to open 6 boxes to get those cards. Congratulations on losing $400.

Most of my autos sold around $75-$90 pre cup. They are now going for about $40 a piece.

That's a great idea, Champions League, La Liga, etc, products have a lot of potential. If they do go ahead with other football sets, I hope they don't go overboard and saturate the soccer card market.

I would like to see a product with retired players....there are a lot of all-time greats who have few, if any, cards available....

People may not agree with me but I think the Premier Gold product that Topps brought out is a better overall product than Prizm. I know that the box price was double what Prizm was but it guaranteed ten hits, quite a few numbered parallels per box (generally /99 and under), and had some big hits in it. I'd rather them go this route. What keeps me from buying Prizm soccer is that you aren't guaranteed anything per box. At $50-$60 a box this is okay, but at $100+ it's a tough pill to swallow when you get two numbered parallels at /199 in your box. You basically just flushed $100 down the toilet.

If Panini does do another product they need to give something more per box so that this isn't the type of product you have to buy by the case to get your guaranteed hits.

I think I agree. Also the topps mls provides serious bang for the buck as far as hits and numbers go. Might not have the names, but you feel better after ripping that than 90% of the Prizm boxes

My experience has been different. Fortunately I've actually made money from the product and I've been able to put a few cards into my PC so I can't complain.
