Shocked she waited this long. I thought she was done when punk was. She wasn't used much in the last couple yrs anyway.

this sucks. the divas division just took a major hit. I guess we will start seeing some of the NXT girls get moved up.

Except she only last lost the Diva's title about 6 months ago and was the longest diva's champion in history not even 2 years ago so yes she was used a ton.

I think she will be back at some point.

CM Punk is going to get pulverized in the UFC and once that little run ends wrestling might look more appealing to both of them.

A few months back the site was posting some tweets that Phil wrote about potential relationship issues so I would imagine he played a major role in this decision.

I thought AJ was pretty entertaining and could definitely wrestle that said I can't stand the divas matches.

I keep reading that she's retiring from in ring competition. Does this leave the door open for her to do things like commentating or backstage work?

Yeah Punk is going to get destroyed in UFC hes a tough dude, but those guys in UFC are generally younger and a lot tougher. WWE might sound more appealing after a match or two in UFC

Okay, I suppose I didn't check my timeline on wiki

There's a lot more to the divas division than in ring action, just ask the Total Divas girls.

when she was crazy and the GM she was everywhere. When Punk left and she lost the title to Paige, I thought she was done them. I'm sure when she took time off she was contemplating it. Never got her thunder back after that.

I kind of feel like CM Punk didnt do her any favors by quitting the way he did and than publicly bashing the WWE and their medical staff. He should of waited to say those things until his wife was no longer with the WWE. It was her dream to be a pro wrestler and he hurt what she had already built by opening his mouth.

Completely agree.
Along w Sheamus, Orton and Big Show, Punk was my favorite. however, the more he whines about WWE and Vince, the less I like him.
