I watched the 14 minute interview clip from a few years ago. First it is old news. Second if that gets him fired it is pathetic.

There was not a racial tilt to those comments. He was simply recanting dialogue between himself and a few black men.

The link to the story I posted is different. This was apart of his sex tape with that Bubba guys ex-wife. It's a conversation he had with her caught on tape about his daughter Brooke being with a black man.

He is allowed to say it. He's not being thrown in jail for it.

He can say what he wants, and not be thrown in jail, but it doesn't protect him from the backlash. Hogan went on a racist tirade, and WWE as a company that has to answer to shareholders, sponsors, and a network (who also has to answer to advertisers), decided to punish him for it. That's within the WWE's rights, like it's the right of Hogan to say it without going to jail, and it's the right of people to be offended by Hogan going on a racist tirade.

He means that he should be able to say it without having to worry about WWE saving face and pretty much removing him from the record books.

I am not saying what Hulk said is right or wrong, I'm just saying what the OP meant.

They will still have his stuff archived on the WWE network, but I doubt they ever mention him ever again. Honestly, until he passes away, and even then depending who's in charge, they will want nothing to do with him and make no mention of him ever in the future.

This sounds extreme.

The comments were from a few years ago. Hulk should craft a well worded appology and say one of the reasons he felt the need to turn his life over to Jesus Christ was he didn't like the person he was.

The public is forgiving and this too will blow over at some point.

Yeah, it's not like Vince said the N word in front of Booker T years ago LIVE ON TV or anything.

I guess since it was a "joke" that makes it fine though.

when it wasnt even suppose to be leaked in the first place???

-- not sticking up and saying what he said was right or wrong...just think its pathetic being punished for something almost a decade ago---

Hard fact: WWE is run by a racist old man who has never had an outright black WWE champion. Closest they got was the Rock, who they constantly talked about his Samoan heritage and occasionally said "oh yeah, and his dad was black too, I guess."

Besides a few minor appearances, Hogan has pretty much been away from the WWE for last 10 years anyways (TNA, TV shows, etc), and before that, all the years with WCW.

Does this mean the WWE is going to remove all Hogan matches from the WWE Network and stop selling his DVD's?
