Either way, CGC takes into account certain 'allowable' production errors when grading.

I think is that his lines are so loose that a great inker can actually make him look better than he is. Looks like Klaus Janson inked the first 2 covers shown and Scott Hanna did the other. .

You've always needed a witness for a book to be eligible for the SS program...Always.
Only change made was that they no longer 'deputised'...
