I will be accepting any and all offers on any of the cards listed on COMC from now until the end of the month.

Question. Does anyone on COMC make offers on or outright buy cards that are not discounted at all? Anyone experienced this?
I notice some even top sellers have stuff that they do not discount at all. While other stuff is highly discounted. Any Idea why they do that? If it books at $200 they have it listed for $200. Are you going to even look at that card if it isn't discounted?

Hell Some people even put the price above book? Does that attract anyone?

Its weird, but everyone has their price. Some cards do sell over book, but given COMC card pricing structure (promoting book value and discounts) is contradictory to this, but the storage fee of .12 a card per year allows someone to do this and sell one card a year to pay for a lot of cards to be priced and/or advertized. Even patches now a days can sell for over book. SPA being a good example that if you've got a 3 or 4cl patch you could be over book.

Some folks have visions of grandeur in selling mediocre cards for at or near book. Others push up the price higher so they can accept 50% offers. I am not sure what is the best strategy, but I try to price my cards as low as possible to attract as many "Buy it nows" as possible.

I think a lot of folks who have the cards at full price or higher than BV are holding the cards to be shipped but are also advertising them. They don't expect the card to sell, but will probably take offers on them.

I just wanted to know what people thought when they see a card that they like but is set at book price. Are you inclined to even bother making an offer to this user?

There are some cases where cards at full price are accurately priced but it's not too common. I usually wouldn't buy at full price or even half of full price. I usually buy at 70% off and higher, unless it's something I really need.

I will take all 50% off offers on any lot of 10 cards or more that I have priced $0.50 or lower!
Must be a minimum of 10 cards and my current listing price has to be 0.50 or lower for me to accept.
Currently there are over 200 cards in my inventory that will fall into this special.

Just reduced prices on almost 3000 cards this morning.

Running a little football promotion.....I am automatically accepting all offers of 50% off my current ask prices on all football cards.

I will continue to reduce all card prices(all sports) every few days until I substantially reduce my inventory of over 14000 cards. Keep checking back for more reduced prices.
