I KNOW A FEW PEOPLE WERE INTERESTED IN THIS WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO LIST ON EBAY. AUCTION IS FOR 7 DAYS, HOPE IT GOES FOR SOME GOOD CASH!

A 1/1 TOPPS CHROME NON-AUTO OF O'CONNELL WENT FOR $175.00 AND A 1/1 SPX AUTO WENT FOR $350.00. I THINK THE RANGE WILL BE IN BETWEEN THOSE TWO CARDS....

Agree with Steelers....the SPX one had an NFL Shield on it if I remember correctly.

Yes the one for $350 had a shield. O'Connell either has a strong following or maybe just Patriot collectors in general but there is 10 people currently watching this auction and two attempts to end auction early with an offer. It will be interesting to see how the next 6 1/2 days go, wondering now if I should of done a 3 or 5 day auction? Oh well let it run its course.

what will hurt this card the most is that it is from Finest.

Finest has never been a widely collected set.

I think what will hurt is is the patriots bye week this weekend...but it should pull in around $200 I would think

I thought about holding until he played his first game but was afraid if he stunk it up he could lose appeal. Sell while its a mystery plus I don't think old Bill B is the type to hurry a young QB in the game as long as Cassel remains healthy. If the Patriots keep losing games you never know what he might do...

Ok guys, auction is over in 2 1/2 hours, I am pretty happy at the activity this card is getting. Will make one more post later to comment on where the auction finishes! Have a good evening and just wanted to say there is some fantastic cards being pulled on this board as of late!

I am very pleased with the outcome! After discussions about how popular Finest products are I think I did really well. Not bad for a $36 group break card!!!
