I have a bunch of cheap auctions ending tonight and the next few days. I am not a big fan of spamming but I need to get rid of all of the cards cluttering my desk.

Man...#19 gets no respect.

I grew up in San Diego, and started watching baseball and collecting baseball cards in '84. Guess who my favorite player was? I'm amazed at the lack of bids you are getting on those auctions.

My favorite TG story -- LCS used to have different Padres come in and sign -- I know he had Garvey at one point...but one day he gets Gwynn to come to the store...1 free auto, every additional auto was $5.

We are all waiting in line for TG to show, and he shows up in his Mercedes, plate is PADRE19, and he has batting gloves sticking out of his pocket. He had come right from the batting cage to the store for the auto signing.

I met him at a local show in 94. It was the only time he was on the east coast for a long time. Total class act. That is what made me start collecting him.
