Default UPDATE

Ok so all of box 1 is sorted for everyone who had some type of request. I am gonna start box 2 tomorrow.

That's gonna be the box in the OP that has all the old Nolan Ryan's & Pete Rose cards along with other stuff I havent looked at yet. It's a small bow so I should be done with that one tomorrow night for sure.

Highlights of box 1:

There were about 50 or so refractors (not labeled obviously but you can tell they are) & about 75-100 different inserts (most of which are in the player stacks that people requested).

There are also some random inserts as well. Also found a few Jordan cards (not rare probably more common ones).

It's fun digging & im anxious to get to the top loaded & encased cards tomorrow. Hopefully they hold some real gold. See you guys tomorrow. Will provide more detailed pics of the encased cards tomorrow when I look through them.

I am positive there ar Bo Jackson cards in there. There are Football & baseball as well. You guys starting with you teambo are gonna be in my next run through. I have over 50 requests already & it's getting hard to track, but rest assured I will go back through once I make my first run through all this stuff. There are also Cello packs with Bo Jackson Rookie football cards too which are cool. I may bust or sell them on ebay though so not sure.

Default UPDATE

I couldn't help it so before I went to sleep I checked a few of the top loaded or encased cards & so far (haven't looked at them all & I will be home late tonight) I found Nolan Ryan's that go back as far as 81 & Pete Rose as far back as 77 & those Kellogs 3d superstar cards from 79 so that's a good start so far. Some of the Ryan's & Rose cards (if grade high) sell really well & some of them look pretty good. Not sure if I will grade or sell raw.

I will provide pics tonight or tomorrow when im done sorting through it.

Default UPDATE

OK so I got through box 2 & found some pretty cool stuff. This box was the one that had all the top loaded cards in it so I went for it second. Have been exhausted lat few days, but finally managed to get it done today. Pics below are either of players or a certain card that was limited. Whoever is looking for the Piazza, Henderson, Rose, & Ryan stuff there is a ton & I haven't even gotten to the other 4 boxes yet.

The most vintage was like 20 or so cards from the mid to late 70's.

Tomorrow I start the box I have been itching to look at. THE CHROME BOX

P.S. I peeked last night & saw a few Finest Refractors in it.

A few Scrub refractors, but you never know who is hiding in that box. Stay tuned.

Enjoy!

What year are those upper deck basketball? Just got back into collecting, doing only baseball, but those look like some of the last packs I can remember. Thinking maybe 95-96?

Id possibly be interested, just for memories sake.

Default UPDATE: The Chrome box

Ok so 2/3's of the way through the chrome box & there are lots of cards to go through & carefully sort. Found a 95 Finest Refractor of a no namer, but still a cool find & ome nice inserts, & refractors. No serial# stuff though. All players stacks are getting bigger as well so I hope you guys are happy with the player stacks im working up for you all. Team stacks of the requested teams are being worked up as well, but only if you made a request for the teams base & all, & there was not a player collector in front of you.

Should be able to knock out the rest of the chrome tomorrow & then on to box 4.

Here are some updated pics from the chrome box. I sorted all the prospect cards & rookie cards I could remember or that were marked as well.

Enjoy & any questions LMK!

Ok so I got through the chrome box last night & tonight is the clean up stage for the chrome box.

99% of player collectors got their stacks a little bit heavier with refractor-like cards, Nice looking base & possibly inserts as well depending on the player.

With the chrome I will be selling the remaining amounts to anyone that wants to buy all the chrome stuff in bulk first to make it easier & faster for me to sell. There are prospects & vets going all the way back to 1995 I believe & plenty of gradeable rookie cards for me to imagine or go through.

There is also stacks of many years of topps finest, Bowmans best cards (love these cards they look awesome), & other stuff as well. Everything is already separated by year and set, so bulk buyers come on down for the chrome.

Stick with an offer that is reasonable as well. There are tons of cards here & no cherry picking years or other players other than the requests for players that have already been filled. I want to dump it all quick otherwise I will either grade the rookies myself & sell or just list raw on ebay or comc & let it run.

Pictures to come later today once I get home from my mothers house for her special day. Bought her a neckless she is gonna die over & I have to see the reaction.

Tomorrow I start box 4. Lots of older stuff so im hoping to find some more players people want, & crossing my fingers for a few Jeter, Chipper & other early 90's rookies.

Yes, but I respectfully didn't want to answer at the moment until I recouped funds, but I will provide a full breakdown of how I did & costs & such so people can see how it all worked out & that if you know what you're doing these types of buys can be highly profitable. I will break it all down once I hit the break even point & will also break down my expected take & expected expenses as well. It's a ton of work, but very fun none the less.

I absolutely love some of the cards that have come out so far especially the old bowmans best stuff & the old finest. Cards had lots of character back then & pizazz so it's fun to see what comes out.

Box 3 is completely sorted by years & sets. Team requests that have been made are separated already & are excellent coming from the chrome. Such a great mixture of players cards & all.

I have a meeting real early in the morning & am exhausted, but the pictures of the player lots that came out of the chrome box & also the inserts (Many more than what I pictured) will be coming tomorrow.

Otter- Your insert pic are coming brother lol. Hope you like them.

After I upload pics tomorrow I start box 4.
