Banner sigs

Maybe allow banners for sigs? Obviously this would have to come across mods to see if it is acceptable, but I dont think it will harm anything. For example: I want to add this to my sig..

Basically allowing the use of HTML coding to signatures

I can see your point, but if they can figure out a way to regulate the size... I dont think it will clutter up the thread too much... Or have an option.. banner only with no text and text only...

How does it clutter a thread up anymore then people puttinh "oh nice card".. or "great break"?

CnC allows i and there threads are pretty orderly....

i personally can't stand the banners they are an eyesore and they do clutter up the boards.

Maybe but I see a big difference when weeding through a long thread with a few lines for a signature as compared to a long thread with banners everywhere. Haven't had banners at any point since the board started so obviously they aren't needed.

I have been on that site maybe a dozen times, and get a headache trying to read the threads.

You didn't answer my question. Why do we "need" them. Not why do we want them.

They take up bandwidth for one thing. So that's a good reason to not have them.

When I started this thread i never said anything about need... it was a honest suggestion, nothing more, nothing less.... why do we need a baseball or hockey or basketball threads? why do we need sigs period? the question of needs is irrelevant....

some of you are taking this way too seriously hahaha...
