Enough with the "Quick Sales"

There's been a ton of the "Quick Sales" threads with 1 card that lasts for more than a quick time. How about have one designated day each week for the quick sales to be posted that day, and then each thread deleted at the end of the day, like each Sunday is Quick Sales Day.

cuz people need money so they try quick sale threads. if i need money on monday and i only need to sell 1 or 2 cards im going to make a quick sale on monday not wait til sunday.

My guess is that most people would prefer that their sales be quick, whether or not they put it in the title.

Quick sales is just the popular "attention grabbing headline" of the moment. To me it is no different than any other For Sale Thread.

Because if you limit the number of days a week that a member can do "quick sales" , then members will throw up their middle finger, and go sell on another site.

Seems like the quick sale threads are nothing but ways to get around the bump rule...

What is wrong with it? They are pretty much firesales just 1 card at a time and everybody loves them..

I don't mind seeing them but I just don't name my thread that cause I know it won't be quick since it don't state "Free or lowball me" lol. Here take a looksy & buy!!!

After taking part in some of the best quick sales here the past two weeks I can tell you most sellers do them wrong or they dont have the inventory to do them at all. The best sellers don't let there sales stall out. If they post a card no one wants they add another and leave up the unwanted card but drop the price to move it. Quick sales are supposed to be quick but few sellers are doing them the best way to get the most out of them imo

Why only one day? There are a few threads that are multiple pages long and still are shooting out "quick sales"

If anything each member should have 1 thread aloud in each forum to sell. In the title it says something like this...

Armyatc22's Football FT/FS thread

This way people know who they are dealing with in the beginning and you can just post new cards throughout your own thread (but still go by the bump rule)

This then would cut down on the hundreds of single card sale threads

Thoughts?

I have no problems with the quick sales. They are not a way around the B/S/T bumping rules. If you post consecutively and are caught, infractions will be enforced.
