May our avatars be slightly larger?

I have always felt that having avatars is a really nice feature, but that here on Blowout they are just too small. Alot of people like to show off favorite cards in their avatar but they are hard to see and sometimes it's hard to even distinguish what player it is! I feel that the avatar size at SCF is about perfect, maybe even a tad smaller would still be cool. The size over there is large enough to actually get a good view of the image but it does not get in the way of anything or cause any troubles. Thank you mods for your time and anyone is free and welcome to share their thoughts and opinions on this subject.

I agree. I can't even use some off google that I want to use because the size is too big (if there's a way to make it fit lmk cause i'm clueless). Also can't get a photo of the woman and I in there.

I have learned that if you try to use a link and it says it's too big, instead just download the image to your desktop then try to set it as your avatar the other way (Option 2) and it usually works. But the image will still show small.

Take yours for example. I have always assumed it's an image of Rodgers after the Super Bowl? Sorry if I'm way off but so many people's avatars are just a blurry mess to me.

I say we go back to the old board where there were no avatars. Wasn't a problem then.

Just a note here. If you want to stop seeing all avatars on Blowout, then download AdBlockPlus for Firefox or Chrome.

After it's installed, right click on an avatar and select block image and use this

blowoutcards.com/forums/avatars/*

as a new filter.

You can also just go to the BO settings panel, go to Edit Options, go to Thread Display Options, and uncheck the show avatars box. This way it works as long as you're logged in, not dependent on the browser. I do this because I browse BO via the phone a lot.
