Thumbs up Finders Fee Board
What if we made a separate category for people who want to offer a finder's fee or want help locating a card?!?

Just post it in the main hobby forums, use a descriptive title so people know you are offering a FF and you don't need yet another sub-forum on here...

I've tried this many times on the message boards, and it just gets buried under the For Sale threads. Might be quite a good idea. I'd look through there if I knew I might have a 10 cent card that somebody will pay $10 for.

My message boards posts have netted me ZERO cards. I posted one video on my YouTube channel and another collector got me a lead on a card I needed to finish a set. He got $20 after I completed the transaction. Targeted/specialized works.

This would work only if it had its own forum so that you can always hit cntrl F if you have a card that may be valuable that someone else is looking for

Wow I was worried at first when I was getting no responses, but I'm happy you guys like my idea. Almost everyone is in agreement about it YAY EVERYONE! YAY ME FOR THINKING OF IT! Does somebody want to suggest it to a moderator or should I send blowout or a mod something, because I had the idea?....

One thing about "finders fee" is how do you know the person who says he knows who has the card actually HAVE the card themselves. I agree with wanting to help people out, but when greed comes in, kind of makes things Sour.
if you offer a $100 finders fee for ex: 07-08 Kobe Bryant exquisite /5
And say I have one, but I dont tell you that & I pretend I know someone who has it and can get it for you if you gave me the finders fee money, I'd sell my Kobe card /5, and make an extra $100 because I acted like I helped you find one when I actually had one and kinda screwed you for an extra $100. That actually happened to someone.

how about just helping people find the card they want just because you want to be nice instead of holding a "found" card "hostage" for a fee?
