2 entries = 6 boxes and might leave enough budget for Heritage and a master case of Tribute.

If you can get at least $25 out of each of the remaining teams by auctioning then you got that covered.

So are we sure we don't want to find some way to get the other teams claimed or at least auction them off on a per break basis? I mean that money can make a significant difference!

Still think we at least need to look at ideas for this or if we are just going to stick with the randomization then draft idea.

If all teams were claimed it would look a lot better.

In order to add a different twist (and get more money in the pot) how about we auction off the unclaimed teams among current group members only and on a PER BREAK basis?

I think it is the best way to go. I mean yeah a bonus team is nice but think about it:

You randomly get the worst of the remaining teams for Bowman Draft. Well you are omitted from a randomly assigned team until everyone gets one. How much are you really gaining from this?

Versus we can get more money in the pot which means more product, which means more of you current team.

Everyone benefits from this is some way.

I would like to see 2008 EEE in February, 2011 Heritage in March, and 2011 Tribute in April.

I like this idea as well.

If we are doing this I would be willing to pick up another team or so for the EEE portion at least.

Maybe the easiest way would be:

Remaining teams for 2010 Bowman Draft case are $45 each. If no one claims then go down to say $35 each for remaining teams... until we get down to whatever?

And to be fair that everyone gets a chance to claim. If two people are willing to pay the same price for a team the that team goes to a ONE bid silent auction in which the higher offer gets the team for $1 more than the other member.

Why not start them at the cost per team, then per day they go down (if we're wanting to this this speedy say 10%). If a non break member wants in, would a 10% premium be fair?

Only thing I don't like about this is - Everyone in this group is committing to a year and during that time teams are going to have good and bad products.

I don't want some random buyer paying a discount and then getting a random hit that could have gone to someone committed to the group.

The only way I would sell one offs to outsiders is if they were excluded from cards that were randomed.

Or maybe there should be a rule that says:

If you are not paying full price $45/month for a team that team is omitted for getting randomly assign cards or being eligible for dual cards?

So say you pay $20 for the White Sox in a break and a dual card representing Orioles/White Sox automatically goes to the Orioles.
