It may be a little early but since we already decided on June and July breaks, we can start talking about August and September.


Estimated Carry Over Balance for July.........$220.51

Payments from Owners.............................$954.58
($45 - fees = 43.39 x 22 Teams = 954.58)

Balance.................................................$1175.09

This doesn't include Auctions for Unowned Teams in June or Shipping Fees. So a safe estimate would be $1250 for our July Break.

Less: 2010 Topps Chrome.....................$580
Add: Owners Fees (August)...................$954.58
Balance For August..............................$1,624.58

So that's more or less what we have to work with for August. This is before shipping and Auctions for August.

Again these are all estimates.

Not just Lineage and chrome - Topps added a new product. Supposed to be mid-range (think platinum).

2011 Topps Marquee

I recommended Lineage - and I still think it will be a great team break for a cheaper price - but I would not be upset if we picked Marquee instead.

Finest comes out late September too...

Stuff looks nice. Saw a comment comparing it to high-end stuff like Tribute. I'm interested in your the Finest break you posted but wouldn't mind seeing us do Finest here.

I would like to point out that with this math, for September we are within dollars of doing a half case of 2011 TTT at current prices, if we pre-sell the Sept auction teams.

i'll put TTT as a Sept product option. I will try and move it along soon before any price jump.

I would prefer to bust something like TTT because that would involve a lot less sorting through base....just my 2 cents

There's a Memorial day sale on 9 box cases of 2011 TTT, bringing the cost down a bit. Looking at what we have for August, we could do TTT in august (really July since that's when it comes out) if we pre-sell the teams, and do Lineage for Sept. Either way, we can lock in a sale price. I don't know which way makes more sense, I don't really know what TTT does after it comes out. I know eventually it goes down, but does the price fluctuate a lot?

I am OK with TTT but let us not assume TTT is our financial goal. I would like to make sure the is enough money to break Bowman DRAFT!! (1st Overall Draft Pick, can I happy for the Pirates at least once a year ? Clemente is no longer on any checklist).... As well as being in GREAT FINANCIAL POSITION to start next year

Yes, I'd like to save some $$ for Draft too. We will most likely be able to pre-order around September, so $200 needs to be put away for that.

I like the looks of the new Marquee product for August but whatever we end up with is fine. We could always bust one in Aug and the other in Sept (depending on pricing of course which I haven't looked at yet).

How much are cases of Draft, generally? Assuming $80 a box (what I remember last year's being, ish), we're still well within Draft price range, just from one month's dues. We can also use October and December as build up months. If we like Draft, we can just go buck wild and break it a few months in a row, as well. TTT isn't the goal, but enough people mentioned wishing we could break it that I thought there was a general consensus that was something we'd like to try to make happen.

I wouldnt mind Marquee, looks kinda cool. I also want to do some draft as well, I know thats still a ways out though.
