I'm down for Sterling, BDPP or older stuff. If we do BDPP, I prefer the player draft format I guess. Team breaks are too uneven to be anywhere near fair.

I am down for any of them but my vote would go for one of the sterling products, quick break with nice hits, simple for it to be put together, drafted and shipped. I like the BDPP idea but of course the the problem with a team break is price. The only way you could really make it work in the current format to be a team break with a decent price is to have 5 separate case breaks each have 32 teams, so there are 160 slots. So if you buy 2 slots you only own a team in 2 of the 5 cases. If you do it that way....

$925 x5 = $4625
$4625/165 (160 team slots and 5 usa slots (1 per case) = $28/slot + supplies and PP fees

Either way is good for me, I just think we should keep the price reasonable ($20 - $30ish) per slot.

Option 4 4 cases I'll take 4 slots. Whatever we decide I'll take a slot per case if team break, or a few of anything.

I'd take a team in at least 2 of the 5, and maybe even 3 if you go with this format.

Cant really do a team break on sterling unless you want the price to be $85/slot per case, I believe this is titled "cheap fun break" club and that no cheap to me

Really the only thing you could do with sterling is a player draft or a hit draft.

pick#1...5 case BDPP break...

#2...4 case combination break

Draft Hit Break

1 10box Case 2010 Sterling (30+ nice hits) Price match = $1700- 1 Case 2011 Bowman Jumbo HTA's (24+ hits) price match = $1250 - 1 case 08 Masterpieces Price Match (About 40 hits) - $750 - 1 Case 07 Future Stars (48+ hits) ~$450-

Total cost = $4150
Total Hits = 142 ( AT LEAST 142 - most likely will get about 160 )

150 slots - $27.66 direct slot cost - With shipping and supplies - $30-$32 per slot

Yeah, but if we did that I could do no more breaks until October. It would count as an active break and so would the Finest break. That's all I can have is 2 active breaks.

In the spirit of keeping it cheap and fun, I think a 2 case hit draft of 2010 Sterling would be our best bet. Affordable slot price (under $20) and you get all the strategy/drama/fun of a hit draft.

I strongly prefer a hit draft to a hit break. A hit break is so random that you might as well just buy a pack or a box yourself and open it. A hit draft has all the anticipation, strategy, trading, manuevering and drama!
