This is the official sign up for the monthly hockey break club we are forming.

Cost: $75/month

Members: 15

Format: Each member will have 2 teams. The first team will be chosen by draft - members will be put in random order and a draft will be conducted. The remaining 15 teams will be randomly assigned. Product(s) will be chosen by vote or by random assignment to a member, rotating monthly (subject to ratification).

Break is now open. Format and slot pricing are within the guidelines and the host has provided verification for the age requirement. Please do your own due diligence and only join if you are comfortable with dealing with the host.

Do the teams change each break or constant? I'd be in for a spot

yeah so this isn't a PC club, just a break club?

As in people are getting in to take their PC team, but draft whomever they want 1st and get a random team

Well I pc Redwings if thats how we're going to do it.

Depending what you have in mind on breaking I would be interested in a spot!

The way I envisioned it was that one team would be constant: this would be the team drafted initially. The other team would be assigned randomly each break.

I'd be open to suggestions for other ideas. I'm thinking mid-range products mostly, with maybe a little high end stuff throw in for good measure.

Thats pretty rough to have the drafted teams be a constant. I think you wouldnt keep all 15 participants long if that was the case unlike having people go with pc teams or drafting each break

i think i get what the OP is trying to achieve, the first time around people will pick a team, and that will be their team in the club.... ideally people would be picking their PC teams...



my one suggestion, is just have people sign up with a team they want, otherwise you are going to have 4 people sign up who are all hoping to draft 1 team, say the Penguins, and then once one of them does, the other 3 might drop

Yes, that was my goal - I figured a draft would be the fairest way to achieve that as opposed to having 5 people say "I want in and I want the Panthers" and then have to sort it out.

Well it looks like we all PC different teams, so if we were allowed to chose one team and have the other randomed I think that would be ideal.

Ok, that works. What do others think?

Too expensive. I'd rather buy my own box for $ 75 a month. Can we start like $ 20 a month for 3 months and then grow if needed.

We can have 30 members with $ 600 worth of boxes each month which is not bad, if there are no hits, $ 20 bucks is very easy blow instead of $ 75.

Thoughts?

Definitely want to keep it at 75 as thats what the majority of the cases cost.

$600 won't get you enough hits to please 30 people, you need to up the dollar amount to at least give everyone a fair shot at hitting something.... people will get shutout but you need make sure there is enough to go around

the club i am in had 15 teams taken, 15 randomed this past week, broke a case of Artifacts and 1 box of Ultimate (we pay a bit more, break every 6 weeks), and just about everyone got something

Yes keep it at $75.00. I PC a few teams so It doesn't matter much to me. As long as I get one of them. All in All I just love the sport so I am in. I saw one guy wants the Red Wings that is fine with me. So any way you want to do this. A draft for the first 15 or pick a team let me know what way we are going to go. I will pick a team asap or I will hold off for a draft.

Sorry folks. I don't want two teams. I want only one. We could do 30spots for $ 35 each.

That wouldn't fill there's not a lot of people on the board that collect hockey.
