Ya I can't agree with the jets, fins, or texans, especially with how deep the texs are in the playoffs...alot of these new late releasing products focus those teams.

Seahawks, redskins, browns, cardinals, bucs/jags....just my opinion.

teams that might have crap for hits now could change come draft time.. unless you plan on changing teams by the months that would be omitted depending on product/yr etc

Looks like the consensus so far is $50 a month with random each month. Dropping minimum of 2-3 teams each month. Any hits from those teams would be randomed off between people not getting anything. Would people be that go hitless be interested in the base for the month? If not, can give to some local kids.

on 2nd thought what would be cool would be if we had 2 breaks, 25 dollars each , one with random teams and one with a pc team. just a suggestion

Prefer random teams each month.
I vote for leaving all 32 teams in.
Just want the hits, rcs, refractors, numbered cards.

First off thank you for sending me the pm about this post. In answering your questions first most importantly I am in so please continue to send me posts like these whenever they are started up.

Redskins - Helu, Royster, Kerrigan, and Hankerson are all 2011 Rookies that can sell and I personally collect a few of them
Texans - TJ Yates is a guy that sells pretty well
Dolphins - Daniel Thomas sells pretty well too

The teams I believe that should be taken out of every break should be:

JETS
BEARS
BILLS
BUCS
SEAHAWKS

None of those teams have rookies that any of us would be able to flip. I think if we take them out and a hit auto comes in from a HOF Vet that the group should sell the card and use that money on the next months break. I have an Ebay store that I could help with that that has 1200 Feedback and 100% rating. Just my opinion of course.

Base doesn't include Rookies right? If so we can donate them. Like the idea of randomizing hits for people who didn't get one more so then my selling on Ebay idea actually. Great idea

I was also in the failed Touchdown Club and appreciate the opportunity to be in this break. I would be fine with the $50 per month and using it all. I for one still like to compile sets and would like the base sent to me. I understand it may be a couple of dollars more for me. It's not fair to the group if nobody else wants their base to use group funds to send my base to me.

I like the team random, but if we decide not to go that rout, I am a Cowboys fan.

$50 is going to be the buy-in fee, will only ship hits/numbered/rcs. If people want their base that month then they will need to pay extra shipping. Random is the majority rule of this group up to this point and seems to be the way to go.

I think the teams left out each month would depend on a product purchased. Some stuff is rookie heavy, some isn't. Right now today that list of 5 teams I mentioned would be the standard imo for teams left out considering a rookie heavy product. The teams out would also change depending on when we are doing this as previously mentioned. If say in April the Seahawks move up in the draft and select Andrew Luck then all bets are off keeping them out of anything, they would become the new Carolina Panthers. You know what I mean? In the end I believe leaving teams out depends on the month and the cards selected. I don't think it can be a hard fast rule that the Bills would never be in a break...Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith...that stuffs bad ass. But if the card we are breaking doesn't show those guys on the checklists then why include them? Hope that helps where I am coming from.

Pico wanting to leave the Skins off the break just doesn't make sense to me. No other NFL team in 2011 has 4 collectable and resellable rookies like the Washington Redskins do. From a purely strategic standpoint leaving them out would be a bad move for everyone. You may not like Hankerson or Helu or Royster or Kerrigan but lots of people do.

I vote to leave them all in, that way we don't have to vote every month on what team or teams to take out. Plus it leave us with $1600 every month to spend.

I think we should do the teams left out when we decide what we are breaking based off the checklists. What we think today wont be what we think in June right? And anyone thinking that the Redskins suck let me point you guys to this one I sold this week
