Testing Football Group Break for 2012

Alright people I am trying to come up with a decent break where we can all have some fun. Get some PC hits, some nice stuff to sell or trade and most of all enjoy this wonderful hobby. This is testing the waters so feel free to make suggestions or comments. I was just in the disaster called the Touchdown Break that went sour and don't want that to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

1.Tell me price point of what you would like to spend.
2. Teams or Random each month. If team which team.
3. Ship all cards or just hits/inserts/numbered cards (This is a factor in shipping charges.)
4. What to do if people get shut out? This was a big issue in the other break I was in and took some of the fun out of it, but we all know this hobby is a gamble. Maybe everyone can send a jersey/auto or something and that person gets the package or it gets split up.
5. This is another big one: I would like a commitment from people for the 12 months. I know things do come up but if we can keep a core group of people together it would be that much better.

I personally like $50 per month and we could actually rotate each month having your team or random. If we just go teams I am Miami Dolphins all the way. I like this price point so we can do nice stuff that most of us normally wouldn't have the chance of breaking like Supreme, Exquisite, etc.. All breaks would be live and recorded. Items would be shipped within 3 days of end of break if not sooner. Any and all issues can be resolved with communication so keep the lines open at all times wether it be in the forum or by PM.

People in for 12 months at $50 each. Main question right now seems to be do we all like Pico04's idea of random then draft 28 teams. The teams left out with be randomed off between people that did not receive a hit or all of the group?? Or do we go with 32 team random each month? Also, need to know your opinions on hits or all cards. Let me know your opinions on this please. I would like to be included in the group hope this is alright to everyone. I am a huge Dolphins fan, lol.

Break is now open. Format and slot pricing are within the guidelines and the host has provided verification for the age requirement. Please do your own due diligence and only join if you are comfortable with dealing with the host.

I would perfer to random each team each month... but i'll go with whatever the group wants... If we decide to keep a team each month, i pick the New Orleans Saints...

I'm defenitly in. I like $50 a month for 12 month commitment.
I would also like a random every month...keeps it fresh and different.
I would also just like the hits shipped. Really have no need for base/un-numbered cards.

With the mess in the Touchdown club that just happened and I was in it and I believe people would be very leary of any type of rollover fund myself included. I liked the premise a lot that is why I joined the break but not sure anyone would go for that at this point. I would like to use up each and every bit of the money getting some nice high end cases or a couple of mid tier or what the group decides each month. I want the group to vote and decide on it all. I want us to all get along with hopefully with minimal issues.

I don't have a problem doing it and wouldn't mind doing it, I just believe people due to that break has left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouth myself included.

I'm down for $50 a month for 12 months and voting on a monthly basis for what we break. I think we should do a lot of random team selection, but if we do go team picks I would like to reserve the NY Giants. Let's keep shipping cost down and just ship hits! thanks Lexus!

Great point bigbadbloom. Please let me know when posting costs, random or team break and hits only or base included. I would also like to look into possibly doing the dwolla for payments as all the rules and such not for paypal is getting out of control. Let me know what everyone thinks on that too.

As stated above....here are my complete responses
1.) $50 a month
2.) Random Each Month (if not please reserve Green Bay Packers)
3.) Only ship hits and save shipping on bases/unnumbered
4.) Maybe the person who gets nothing can get the bases?
5.) I'm committed for 12 months for sure.

This is what I am thinking:

1. $50.00 Works w/ a commitment of 12 Months
2. I will only participate if we have a Monthly Team Random <<<<
3. Ship only the Hits/Inserts/#ed Cards/Rookies
4. Participants vote at the beginning of the Month for which Case/Boxes we are gonna bust with the Majority Vote Deciding The Break.
5. We Use all the Funds possible with very little rolling over

6. If someone bails with out a legit reason they automatically get a Negative from the Host

i would be in for random or whatever if its a team though i would like the Cowboys but not sure on the $50 per month i would prefer $25 or so with everything else i do would make it easier just my option

i would be interested. $50 is fine with me. i would prefer to do random teams...i think its more fair that way. also, just ship the hits/numbered cards. i dont really need any more base.

I would be interested as well, $50 a month for random with only hits/inserts involved sounds good to me. No problem with a 12 month commitment.

Will update this tomorrow evening with all people in and why they want with a tally of requests. Was also wondering if we should omit any teams? Would hurt funds somewhat but some teams like the Seahawks and such normally have fewer hits. Just throwing it out there.

Great Idea....I think at the $50.00 Range we will be able to get rid of a few teams and if by chance we hit something from one of the omitted teams, then we can Random them off to people that went Hit-less in the break.

Im thinking we take out 2-4 Teams....these are some teams that I would not mind out of the break.

Seahawks
Texans
Jets
Dolphins


Break Down:
32 Slots + $50.00 = $1600.00 (No Teams Taken Out)
31 Slots + $50.00 = $1550.00 (1 Team Taken Out)
30 Slots + $50.00 = $1500.00 (2 Teams Taken Out)
29 Slots + $50.00 = $1450.00 (3 Teams Taken Out)
28 Slots + $50.00 = $1400.00 (4 Teams Taken Out)
