Do Not Bend: Definition?

To make a long story short a couple of my recent 8x10 successes had creases in them from the postal carrier stuffing the envelope in my box, even though both said "Do Not Bend". I live in an insanely quiet apartment complex, and leaving packages at my door would be no problem at all. Please tell me the carrier doesn't think "Do Not Bend" means don't fold it "in half", but curling it into the box when it barely fits is fine? Might have to talk to him if another problem comes up.

I actually had a postal worker laugh at that before & say that putting things like that on mail was like an invitation.

I use the "Do Not Bend" stamps in red ink...so far out of hundreds of ttms I think maybe 2 or 3 came slightly bent. It also helps when our house has one of those community mailbox areas where out mail slot is wide and long and fits the 9x12 envelopes easily!

Wow. I am shocked. I left a message at the local P.O. on Veterans' Day about oversized envelopes being stuffed into my box, and asked them to start leaving oversized envelopes at my door. I figured with all the deliveries my carrier makes in a day it would be too much to ask, but guess what? Today's success was left at my door!

It is an invitation......for me to kick their sack in and go postal on em!!!!

If that's the postal worker's viewpoint than I wouldn't want them dealing with ANY of my mail.
