Just kidding, guys...another night of 'graphing the sport no one here cares about. Gave the Winnipeg Jets a shot at gametime, even in the rain.

Blake Wheeler 1/4 Cards (rain ruined it)
Adam Lowry 1/1 Card
Connor Hellebucyk 1/1 Card (personalized)
Patrik Laine 1/1 Official Game Puck

It took some work to track down Laine, but I did it. Buff signed, but I passed on him to get Laine. Also missed Bryan Little while getting Laine, but hey, that's still a win. Pretty stoked to have landed the top three rookies in the NHL on game pucks in the last three (Matthews, Laine, Werenski).

I had a day filled with 'graphing today, and while it was a solid day, it could've been a whole lot better. Started with the Columbus Clippers/Louisville Bats (who I didn't have much for), then moved on to the Columbus Blue Jackets, and then I ended with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Baseball:
Kyle Crockett 2/2 Cards
Adam Moore 2/2 Cards
Eric Stamets 4/4 Cards
Giovanny Urshela 1/1 Cards
Tyler Olson 3/3 Cards
Erik Gonzalez 2/2 Cards
Erik Kratz 2/2 Cards
Mike Clevinger 1/4 Cards
Bradley Zimmer 1/2 Cards
Tony Renda 1/1 Card
Delino DeShields 1/1 Card

Columbus Blue Jackets:
John Tortorella 1/1 CBJ Official Game Puck
All the following were on a team poster consignment:
Scott Harrington
Oliver Bjorkstrand
Sam Gagner
Kyle Quincey
Ryan Murray
Lauri Korpikoski
Zach Werenski
William Karlsson

Pittsburgh Penguins
Ron Hainsey 1/1 Card

So, all-in-all...solid. Some decent stuff, but could've been a great day. We were going to have a great shot at Crosby, but 75% of the Pens ate dinner in the hotel, and it just wasn't happening. Sucks to miss out on Crosby/Malkin/etc. as a victim of circumstances, but hey, it happens. I'm happy to add a Torts game puck to my collection and do some work for 50/50s & consignments while knocking out more of my Clippers stuff.

After missing out on Crosby & Co., one of my 'graphing friends reminded me "that's why you have to be excited about every single autograph that you get!" which is a great reminder. Put it in perspective that it was still a pretty darn good day.

Ready to call it a day on hockey season after seeing the Pens again. I got Hainsey on Saturday as mentioned, nothing on Sunday night, and then I went back this morning/afternoon to give them a shot coming back from morning skate.

Matt Cullen 3/3 Cards
The Best Hockey Player in the World 1/1 Sports Illustrated

Sid got off the bus and hit one for me and one for my buddy. The only other three graphers there didn't even budge when the bus pulled up and Sid got off...weird. I'm not mad; that's Crosby #3 on the season for me and probably my last hockey autograph of the 16/17 season with the Blue Jackets down 3-0.

Got the chance to get out and 'graph Lehigh Valley last night after the game, had a pretty solid night. JP Crawford ran onto the bus while Appel, Murray, and Morgan were signing, so no one got him (although he supposedly signed on arrival and inside). Otherwise, no complaints.

Jorge Alfaro 1/2 Cards, 1/1 Card (double-dipped)
Mark Appel 1/2 Cards, 1/1 Card (got him charting and then postgame)
Nick Williams 2/2 Cards
Jake Thompson 2/2 Cards
Ben Lively 1/2 Cards
Jesmuel Valentin 1/1 Card
Colton Murray 2/2 Cards
Adam Morgan 1/1 Card
Yandy Diaz 4/4 Cards (gave one away)
Tyler Naquin 1/2 Cards (flat-out ruined it)
Adam Plutko 2/2 Cards (finished my duals with Perci Garner)
Shawn Armstrong 2/2 Cards
Ryan Merritt 4/4 Cards
Richie Shaffer 3/3 Cards
Mike Clevinger 1/2 Cards

All-in-all, not a bad day. Roman Quinn pulled the phone trick while with Nick Williams, but eventually signed (I didn't chase). Bradley Zimmer is sneaking out of the park and no one knows where; it's weird, man. Still walked away with thirty cards signed, so it wasn't a bad day despite missing Crawford.

Yeah, he'll sign if you see him, but he goes way out of his way to avoid. His signature has gone to crap, too.

I spent more time doing Lehigh Valley, both postgame last night and then inside the stadium/postgame today. For the first time in my life, I finished a team: I got every single card that I pulled for a team signed over the course of a series. Hell yeah.

Last night:

Jorge Alfaro 1/1 Card, 1/1 Card (dipped again)
Roman Quinn 2/3 Cards
Nick Williams 1/1 Card
Ben Lively 1/1 Card
Hoby Milner 2/2 Cards
Pedro Florimon 1/1 Card
Yandy Diaz 3/3 Cards (gave another away again)
Mike Clevinger 1/1 Card
Jake Thompson 2/2 Cards
Joe Colon 2/2 Cards
Tyler Naquin 1/1 Card

Today:

JP Crawford 1/1 Card, 1/1 Card (inside and outside; '14 and '16 Pro Debut)
Jorge Alfaro 1/1 Card, 1/1 Card (inside and outside; no dipping this time)
Roman Quinn 2/2 Cards
Mark Appel 1/1 Card
Rhys Hoskins 1/2 Cards, 1/1 Card (in and out)
Dylan Cozens 1/1 Card
Pat Venditte 1/2 Cards, 1/1 Card (in and out)
Taylor Featherston 1/1 Card
Hector Gomez 1/1 Card
Carlos Frias 1/1 Card
Tyler Naquin 1/1 Card
Kyle Crockett 2/2 Cards
Chris Narveson 1/2 Cards
Travis Banwart 1/1 Card
Shawn Morimando 2/2 Cards

Kind of a fun series...two JP Crawford, six Alfaro, three Appel, four Roman Quinn, two Rhys Hoskins, and three Nick Williams, plus plenty of other good stuff. I just hope my luck carries over with Charlotte in town this week. I've heard a lot of bad things about JP Crawford, but I don't have anything negative to say about him or his signing habits. He took it like a champ. Dylan Cozens was miserable the entire time, though.

Yesterday, I intended to do the Charlotte Knights for a little bit, but I had to leave for work before any of them came in. Wasn't a total waste, though, as I managed to get some Clippers stuff done...

Chris Narveson 1/1 Card
Carlos Frias 1/1 Card
Tyler Naquin 1/1 Card
Adam Plutko 2/2 Cards
Nellie Rodriguez 2/2 Cards
Tyler Olson 2/2 Cards
Bradley Zimmer 1/1 Card

Finished up my stuff for Narveson, Frias, Plutko, Rodriguez, and Olson, so that was a worthwhile trip. Happy to get another Zimmer and Naquin, too. Now if I could just add Moncada in the next couple of days...

A Zimmer sighting? That's promising.

Good luck with Charlotte, hopefully the weather cooperates for us!

Charlotte wasn't real fun today as there was a huge crowd pregame and postgame, and Yoan Moncada wasn't having it inside today. Outside, it was such a crapshoot that I really just focused on waiting for Yoan to come out.

Adam Engel 1/1 Card
Ryan Raburn 1/3 Cards
Jason Bourgeois 1/1 Card
Nicky Delmonico 2/2 Cards
Tyler Danish 2/3 Cards
Carson Fulmer 1/1 Card
Lucas Giolito 1/1 Card (personalized)
Yoan Moncada 1/1 ROMLB

That's that, mission accomplished. I was thrilled to land Moncada, Giolito, and Fulmer today; Lopez pitched and then ignored on the way in. All things equal, they weren't great today, but I did well enough. Giolito only signed because he was charting with Carson Fulmer. All's well that ends well, but I'll be glad to not 'graph for a few weeks.

Hey, it's me...no 'graphing lately, but I have thirty-some scans (pages of nine) of the year ready to share. This was a lot of work, but here I am.

I think that covers everything; apologies for the small(ish) scans, but bulk resizing them on Imgur was by far the easiest way to do it. Been a pretty good year so far, so if you're interested in trades, 50/50s, consignments, etc., feel free to get ahold of me.

I went to the Indians/Rays game earlier this week for fun, but I did do a little 'graphing to try and get a few Indians pieces done. Not a bad day at all, but it's my annual reminder as to why I prefer the Minors so much.

Bradley Zimmer 1/1 Game Ticket (with "1st HR" inscription)
Boone Logan 1/1 Card
Nick Goody 2/2 Cards
Jason Kipnis 1/2 Cards
Andrew Miller 1/1 2016 World Series Program (signature bubbled due to cover having a weird finish, but it's fine)
Francisco Lindor 1/1 Sports Illustrated

I got Lindor and Miller inside (Brantley and Kipnis each signed a few as well), and the other three guys outside. For the most part, the Indians weren't having it, but I was more than thrilled to get the Lindor SI done. He doesn't personalize for kids/women it seems, but he does for non-child males. Not mad though, my magazine turned out great.

Doing the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Railriders on arrival yesterday was...disappointing. Their signing habits were right in line with the normal Yankee signing habits, including that of Gleyber Torres, who didn't touch a pen all day yesterday. On top of that, Corey Kluber was rehabbing in Columbus yesterday, denied the six of us still there on arrival, and apparently signed only inside in the middle of a rain delay (where, yes, it was raining; thanks, Corey). Nonetheless, here's the haul:

Clint Frazier 1/2 Cards
Austin Jackson 1/2 Cards
David Lough 1/2 Cards
Tyler Wade 1/2 Cards
Jason Gurka 1/1 Card
Richie Shaffer 4/4 Cards
Jerry Owens 8/8 Cards
Kyle Crockett 2/2 Cards
Chris Narveson 1/2 Cards
Shawn Morimando 1/1 Card
Carlos Frias 1/1 Card
Giovanny Urshela 1/1 Card
Todd Hankins 7/7 Cards

So, all-in-all, not a waste of a day at all, especially adding Frazier and Jackson. But still a disappointment from missing the top two names. David Lough is a solid new addition to the Clippers, and Austin Jackson was rehabbing (becoming the 139th different player to wear an Indians uniform that I've gotten an in-person autograph from).

Another note to those of you who may come to Columbus - Tyler Naquin has repeatedly said he's done signing in Columbus because he recognizes everyone and has signed enough for us. Take that for what it's worth.
