well....I sent a ttm request to Brett Favre – via Foundation – on 1-5-11....

today they cashed my check!!!

Now this could mean nothing and I could get hosed....but BRETT CASHED MY CHECK! YIPEEE!!! well, Brett didn't but some cashed it for him!!!

Now the waiting game....

I sent a couple incase he messed one up he had another.
If I get ONE back signed I will so happy, I might pee myself!

I wonder if Brett is signing because of all the allegations surrounding him. Either way, I think its great he signs for all of us die hard fans. I, personally dont care if he text some girl stuff. I think athletes shouldnt be judged on their off the field issues. We pay money for tickets and merch because of their talents between the lines. Although I would hope they would set an example and be a good role model. Which I think Brett has done. I hope he signs all your cards. Best of luck.

I think its PR work to be honest. The guy went from being the NFLs darling to a redheaded stepchild (no offense to any gingers out there). I am going to unleash the wrath of god on his mailbox until I get some RTS from him. I might start sending from multiple addresses. I have a mailbox at the high school I teach at, but we are supposed to keep personal mail out of there. Screw it. I might even send them from my buddies houses all over the state and change the last name on them. I love favre as an athlete, and my hats off to him for sending pics of his hog. That chick was hott, and he is doing everything I wish I could do.

I think I sent 2 Vikings cards, not sure which 2 though.

I know before I sent them out, I ran thru a whole bunch of common cards to see which cards had the best possible chance of getting a bubble free and smudge free signature.

I figured I have 1 shot at this and I didn't want to send something that would come back all smudged up.

ALSO...I sent my request in a bigger 8 x 10 rigid envelope and put my letter, sase and cards in a smaller #10 envelope inside. Big bold RED letters on the outside of the envelopes stating "DONATION ENCLOSED"....heck I even put tracking on it!! LOL!!

I wasn't taking a chance! LOL!
