Sending out TTM for the first time, quick questions!

I just got back from Target....hmm...for each set I have:
-One security envelope addressed to the player from me, stamped
-One security envelope (SASE) stamped, to me, from me (is this right?)
The envelopes are 4 1/8 inch by 9 1/2 inch.
-baseball card
-short letter to each player
Am I forgetting anything? Is there anything you recommend so I can protect the card?

I'm going to do research tonight and all tomorrow and then start sending out. I haven't decided but probably a good amount of Mets players and then players that are known to sign. Any suggestions?

Better be sure to get them out tomorrow, since there is only 2 and 1/2 weeks left in spring training.
