Haha yeah it's quite the unique sig! Took me a minute to see the "e" and "r."

Nice to see you got a return from Luigi (I just sent him a request a few days ago ).
Going to send 8 more requests tomorrow since I know who I have a chance of getting a return from now.
I hope you get your Luigi back soon!! Good luck with your sendouts. When I started TTM I sent a huge first batch out to guys that don't sign haha.

Dickson was born and raised in San Francisco as a Giants fan with a father who played in the Giants' organization. Who was he drafted by? The Dodgers, of course! These dual loyalties don't seem to be fazing him on the field, however, as Dickson has hit his way to an impressive .283 / 8 / 51 line.

Tony Renda c/o Hagerstown Suns in 20 days

Awesome, personalized success from a local kid (went to Cal). He's hitting .291 this year with 28 doubles and 15 SBs.

Ji-Man Choi c/o Jackson Generals in 24 days

Sweet success from the Korean prospect. He had a great year in 2012, hitting .298 with 8 HRs, but has struggled a bit in AA.

He also wrote this on the SASE!! Major props to anyone who can translate for me!

Rico Noel c/o San Antonio Missions in 22 days

Awesome success from the Padres speedster. He swiped an amazing 90 bags last year and has racked up 37 SBs this year in AA.

Jamie Callahan c/o Lowell Spinners in 8 days

Just 18 years old, Callahan debuted this year for the Spinners with 5 shutout, 1 hit innings.

The korean written on the sase means thank you in korean .

5 great returns today:

Kyle Crick c/o San Jose Giants in 14 days

My third return from my favorite player and the far and away #1 Giants prospect. He is seen by most as the next in a long line of homegrown HS pitching talent (Cain, Bumgarner, etc). Thrilled to add this to my supercollection of Crick.

Mark Bordonaro c/o Clinton LumberKings in 9 days

Nice return from the M's relief prospect who has punched out 17 in 12 innings this year. Nice to add to my burgeoning '13 Pro Debut collection.

Branden Kline c/o Delmarva Shorebirds in 35 days

Excellent return from the Orioles' #8 prospect in a system full of talent. Kline had a fantastic career at the University of Virginia, leaving his name peppered across the all-time records. He was selected last year in the 2nd round but has only managed 47.2 pro innings so far due to injury.

Gabriel Guerrero c/o Clinton LumberKings in 8 days

Awesome success from Vlad Guerrero's nephew and one of the M's top prospects. 19 year old Gabriel plays similarly to his uncle (no batting gloves, can tally up a number of different stats) and could find himself in Seattle in the next few years.

Reese McGuire c/o GCL Pirates

Probably my favorite out of a very good mailday. This 18 year old beast was selected and signed by the Pirates last month in the first round (14th overall) and is destroying the GCL so far, hitting .457 through his first 12 games. McGuire and Austin Meadows represent an incredible haul for the Pirates of first round HS talent. I love how the auto came out on this photo.

Nice McGuire. When I was coaching in Washington he was a well known name. Ironically, a kid from our league was taken as a first round catcher last year. Pretty amazing that a smaller state like Washington where you only play a handful of baseball games a year due to the weather yielded two first round catchers.

Clint Coulter, the other catcher, was overdrafted in my opinion. I've seen that kid crush the ball, but the majority of the time, throw him a hook and he won't touch it. Surprised that he went in the first round. His high school coach, long time MLB'r Tom Lampkin, was hyping him since his frosh year. Usually when a veteran big leaguer like that is broadcasting how amazing this kid is, and how he is a sure fire big leaguer people are going to listen, unfortunately I think Lampkin snake oil sold Coulter. McGuire on the other hand is the real deal no questions about it

Interesting take, it's sick that you get such an insider's look into these things. Coulter definitely had a rough go with the Timber Rattlers to open the season. Reese has such a nice swing, I could definitely see him claiming the dish in Pittsburgh some day.

well its only a few guys i got to see first hand... not a lot of prospects coming out of the pacific northwest... i knew of mcguire because we were potentially going to have to square off with him in the playoffs his sophomore year and he was already making noise around the state then...
Coulter went to Union HS which was about a mile and a half from the school I coached at, so we knew him very well... He was also a state champion division 1 level wrestler and took his senior year off to commit to Baseball.. Another kid that was out of the Vancouver/Camas area that was a top notch catcher was a kid named Austin Barr who is at Stanford now... it was a pretty tough league. We had Tommy Thorpe who is Oregon's Ace and a few other schools had drafted pitchers... It was a fun time to be coaching in that small area...

Haha wow that's sick.

4 more returns today!

Mauricio Cabrera c/o Rome Braves in 9 days

Nice return from the Braves' #7 prospect. He's had a strong year in Rome, striking out 81 over 92.1 innings.

Max Fried c/o Fort Wayne Tin Caps in 15 days

Awesome return from the #7 overall pick in last year's draft!!! He and Giolito were drafted out of Harvard-Westlake in LA. I got something else signed by Fried, but I'll keep it a secret for now

Nick Martinez c/o Myrtle Beach Pelicans in 10 days

Martinez is having a fantastic year in high A Myrtle Beach, compiling a 3.18 ERA over 96.1 innings while punching out 77. He also wrote me a very nice note!

Ty Blach c/o San Jose Giants PO Box in 8 days

So pumped about this return from the Giants' 5th round pick last year out of Creighton. He is having a phenomenal, breakout season in San Jose, going 10-3 so far with a sparkling 2.63 ERA and 91 Ks over 95.2 innings. The most ridiculous stat of all though is walks- he has given up just 9!! Nine walks in 95.2 innings is simply astounding. There isn't a single MLB pitcher who has had control even near that this year. Sorry for the long blurb, but this kid deserves it with the year he's been having.

Haha awesome, thanks man. I would recommend Nick Martinez in particular, I think I was his first ever TTM and he wrote me such a nice note, said it was kinda cool to hear from fans and that he's glad to sign stuff for us!!

Does it have something to do with this?

I enjoyed looking at his TTM successes.
