I think he wanted to sign on a lighter color area so he could see the signature better.

Congrats man, I was thinking of writing to Skaggs myself but I haven't quite gotten around to it... About the Salty, is there like some place on his site where you can make that request? His salty39 website seems a little bare.

Thanks a lot! Yeah what I did was go on his site, went to the inquiry section, and submitted a "question" submission type, then sent the request. I promptly got an email response from Jim Munsey who told me where to mail the SASE. Salty showed up in my mailbox a few weeks later! Best of luck!
