Don't go for eBay, but simply have them developed in a photo lab. I've been collecting IP for 20 years and only use 8x10" and 8x12" photos that I have developed on Kodak Royal paper in a photo lab for € 0.49 each.
That's way cheaper than buying your photos from photo dealers off eBay, at least if you are needing a large amount of photos each month like I do for my IP's. However, I've heard from some of my US collegues that some photo labs in your country have very strong rules regarding copyrights which we don't have to deal with here. i use google .... type in who you want ..hit images up top... pay attention to the picture size(pixels).. itll say like 600x800 .. i just save the pic i want to my computer, then upload it to walgreens photo... it tell me what size picture is able to be printed clearly. then i go pick em up... i pay $1.99 for a 5x7, and 3.99 for 8x10... i do almost all my ttms 5x7

. and 2.99 for 1 8x10.. then you have to wait...so unless your printing a bunch, theres not benefeit..... what if they come out a little blurry? do you end up waiting a fewdays/week for a pic you dont like/ cant use? for me, if i come across an address or 2 that i want to send a pic to i can go on google, find a pic, upload to walgreens, go get in my car, drive around corner and get it...from 1st thought to pic in hand is 10 minutes, so at 1.99 not that big a price....

I'm really glad photo labs don't overcharge us here in Germany like they do in the US.
Like I said before, I pay a regular € 0.49 per 8x10" photo, € 0.08 per 3x5"/4x6" photo and € 0.15 per 5x7" photo. Photos are developed on Kodak Royal paper and are delievered free of charge within 48 hours after you placed your order. So e.g. when I order them on Monday night, the photo lab develops them on Tuesday morning, ships them the same day and I have them here on Wednesday morning. And that's pretty much a standard for photo labs in Germany. |
