I have sent out a ton of prospects as well. I have another stack ready to go out here shortly. I know the names above are going to be extremely hard but all those names have yielded successes at spring training or during the regular season in the past 4 years. Very rare but the only way you're ever going to get the big names is to send to them.

I sent out my first Mariano yesterday with another ready to go out tomorrow. Good luck with Posey...I got him during ST his rookie year.
I am planning on sending about 40-50 requests out this year...I am a little discouraged since each year less and less come back percentage wise. I think if this year goes poorly it might be my last time sending out a large mailing for spring training. We'll see.

Here is the list of players that I have for this years ST. I only sent out 10 last year and ended up getting 3 of them back (Michael Cuddyer, Carlos Santana, Josh Hamilton). Hoping for a little better success this year so I sent to players that have signed in the past.

I realize that - but I also follow Greenberg on Twitter. Someone asked him where they could send a card for him to sign (I think it was like Feb. 2). He responded Ed Smith stadium. I thought I would take a shot.

I just sent out about 80 requests today, hoping for some great returns.

I am not going to be surprised if Mo doesn't sign this year because of the number of requests he will get. Sending out 20 things to him might increase your chance of getting something back but at the time, he might just look at his requests and say it is too many. Some people are sending multiples so the chances even out even if you are sending 18. More people sending + multiple requests= same chances

People do this every year with him. He is so hit or miss. I send 2 each year to him (one during the spring and one during the regular season) and have never got him back yet. I am only doing one this year and hoping for the best with him.
