I send out about a week before pitchers and catchers get there so its there when the players get there.

I have no idea who I should send to this year. Might try to get some Rays players (im a die hard yankees fan but we have a local team Single A rookie league for the Tampa Bay Rays)

how do you send 8x10'ss do u topload it and include a sharpie or just send.. the pic alone with a sase.. dont want my sharpie to crush the pic

DO NOT TOPLOAD. some players will not take it out of the toploader and sign the toploader.

I'm completely new to ttm, but I decided to give it a shot this year. I was thinking about just sending out cards to guys who are good signers based on past years, but where's the fun in that? Here's who i'm attempting (all 8x10s):

Ive heard Gibson is hit or miss, and that Rivera only signs a handful each year (if you get lucky, congrats). i did send to Gio last year for ST and havent gotten anything back yet. pretty much everyone else on your list is (or was this past year at least) pretty good signers i believe...

That gives me hope for a good return! When do you usually send your requests out? If Mo is only going to sign a few, I think it would be to my advantage to have the picture arrive at pretty much the same time pitchers and catchers report.

If you have older 80=90 topps alot of coaches are good signers in ST. Every year there are a few surprises who sign. Just have to send to who you like and check the 2012 success thread.

Do not waste your stamps on Machado. He told me when he is with Delmarva he does not sign anything sent to him.
