AAAAHHHH!! I got TTM Auto withdrawals!!

This is getting bad...it has been at least 3 weeks since my last success!!
I told my wife I think that mail lady is keeping them!
While I was joking, I am beginning to wonder...Really, I mean it!
This is nutz! I have seen successes from people I sent the same thing to at the same time but nothing here! UGH!

HELP ME!! I NEED A FIX!! I am seriously thinking of sending to Bobby Doerr again just because he returns quick! Either that or sending requests to my neighbors! LOL!!

Am I alone? Anyone else needing a hit?
Please tell me I am not alone....please?

I was convinced that my mailman in Vancouver was pocketing some of my stuff. I had some checks cashed by some well known signers and nothing showed up. I made the mistake of telling him before hand that I was getting autographs in the mail. I later received most of those packages from the post office in a bundle saying they were needing additional postage.

Ive had 5 returns this week....it seems really slow as well though because sometimes there are several days between successes. Hopefully everyone is just getting back into the groove of things after the holidays.

Funny part is I was doing good during December which you would think would be slow with the holidays and such. LOL!

I can sympathize with the waiting. I tend to send out my requests generally in batches...so I have time periods where I get lots back and other times when they just trickle in. It has been awhile since I sent a large quantity out, so lately I have been mostly getting ones from several months back. Hang in there...they will roll in eventually!!

I think ttms are down across the board. Just in the past couple years I've noticed a ton more people sending out ttms on here startiger sportscardforums and YouTube. I'm sure a couple of the older ttm'ers could shed some better light on that theory. I would assume that certain athletes are getting pounded with mail. Ie. Josh hamilton had a ton of mail this year. With everyone who seen his twitter and have been seeing YouTube videos and successes reported on here and various other sites, I can only imagine the mass load of mail he will be getting this year. I imagine he will dry up in the next few years.

Yeah, I felt that way for a long time. It also doesn't help that my mail lady seems to get all our mail boxes mixed up. I just had to walk mail down the block yesterday from Saturdays mail. My neighbors probably have some sweet autos!

I remember the thrill of TTMs. I have sent out probably 5 requests in the past year (none in the past 7 months). I used to send out ten a week. They're really fun, maybe I'll send a few more out for spring training.

It used to be way better when I was a kid. I remember getting all kinds of stars to sign back in the day...from the then "current stars" like McGwire, Piazza, Glavine, Marcus Allen, Mattingly etc. to the HOFers like Billy Williams, Musial (signed the item not the postcard), and many others. I still have bunch of mine, but wish I would have sent out way more. I agree with you that each year less and less athletes are going to sign (especially the stars).

I did this at my old apartment because the mailman was bending the large envelopes to fit in my mailbox so I asked the postmaster if I could post a sign saying to leave them outside my door.

They were very helpful at the time.

Stinks going to the mailbox everyday and hoping that there will be a small white envelope to and from you.
