Thank you, and yeah I hope so too. It seems like everyday for the past 10 or so days I've been almost expecting it and getting my hopes up. Maybe I just need to stop thinking about it for it to appear!

I'm not sure why it's taking so long, I figure he's done now for the season and has nowhere to go but home. I almost thought they'd send him to the AFL, but I think they want to keep a close eye on his pitch counts.

I was probably like the 2nd or 3rd person here on this forum who sent to him at Tri-City back around Independence Day... he must just be working on his mail from newest to oldest and doing it in short bursts.

Awesome dual! I tried to do that with Clint Frazier and Austin Meadows. I got Clint's side, but I sent to Meadows right before he got drafted, so I don't think he ever got mine. Maybe I'll try next year.

I'm still waiting on Appel, too. There's still an entire offseason to go through. Maybe he's saving a bunch for then, kind of like what Clayton Kershaw and Josh Hamilton do.

Thanks! Good luck on your duo idea. I'd try to send during the regular season next year. I figure if he crack A he'll be there for a while.

And about the offseason, I got Hamilton last year like that and I sent to Kershaw this summer with that intention. It wouldn't be so bad to hear from a few more of the 60+ ttms I sent without responses yet either I'm hoping some of the minor leaguers I sent to will get back to me relatively soon since their season is over. Especially if they're not on the 40 man or anything

Oh man that dual is awesome. Two ex-Yomiuri Giants pitchers on one card and both signed it.

I said I wasn't going to send any more ttm requests this season until the AFL starts.... well that was a lie. I saw today the Cubs purchased the contract of Korean vet Chang-Yong Lim from AAA Iowa and he'll be in their bullpen for the remainder of the season.

thought i'd give this a shot, he's a long time player in both Korea and Japan, and he pitched the Olympics and WBC for Korea. I love his story, I hope he has a strong showing in the limited time left. I'm sending c/o cubs @ Wrigley.

Got back my second attempt to Gioskar Amaya today! A pleasant surprise, too! 85 days.

hahaa oh wow, lol no but i can see how you might have first interpreted that.

Completely unrelated, does anyone have an offseason address for Alex Morgan? I wanted to write to her recently when I saw a success on the manager, but I didn't know the American soccer season ends now. Should I just wait until next season?

Got another return today! Joc Pederson, 31 days from AA. Happy to get this one back, despite the weak pen he used. Still happy!

I know i'm behind in pics, when i get the next ttm I'll post all i haven't yet.

Hope you get a return from Appel soon man.

And good luck with Workman. Hopefully he has a workman-like ethic when it comes to signing.

And yes, I know that was a terrible pun but I wanted to say it anyway .

thank you, and terribly enough i thought the same thing! i never got him the times i saw portland this year, figured "what the heck" it wouldn't kill me to send now.

For the appel maybe i just need to completely forget about it to arrive maybe once i give up on it in like a year it will show up!

So, another personal record broken from this season today on a single return!

Yes! awesome success today, 1/1 Zach Lee of the AA Los Angeles Dodgers
97 days roughly since I sent it!! So thrilled to get this back. I sent him a funky 2012 Panini card, he signed it in thin blue sharpie but it looks great! I prepped it well enough, it seems.

97 days passes the previous record of 85 set on friday by Amaya, and getting 3 straight ttms in 3 days ties my record from early july

Received another return today, couldn't make out where it was post-marked from but regardless it was from Sean Nolin of the Blue Jays he signed my 2013 pro-debut in 26 days since I sent it to AA New Hampshire. Nice blue signature on it, I'm happy to get this back!

I still have to post pics of: Lee, Pederson, Amaya, and now Nolin. I'll definitely post before the end of the week.

EDIT: It was from some place in New York, he must have not been called up so he sent it from his home on Long Island. Didn't realize he lived so close by

I've been unable to scan pics lately, i'll definitely get around to it on the next ttm i receive. On that note, I sent out an incredible ttm request today to Japan. It's not baseball related, but for a very rich man named Satoshi Tajiri. If you don't know who he is, look him up! it would be so cool to get him.

Also, in terms of video game related people I have something set aside i'd like to send to one Mr. Nolan North, the voice of the protagonist Nathan Drake in the PS3 series Uncharted I'll send out to both Van Persie and Chicharito in the UK as soon as I receive the VP cards in the mail from a user here on this forum.

I'm a little anxious about it honestly, i don't want to make any rookie mistakes. I've been told Van Persie is unpredictable but i think Chicharito might sign.... i don't want to waste the stamps! I think of it as a big risk, but with a big potential payoff if it comes through. Same goes for my sendout today to Japan!

How are you going to send to Europe? I've wanted to but haven't had the courage to do it yet.

Isn't Satoshi Tajiri one of the developers of Pokemon? Even if he's not, congrats on getting an international autograph of somebody rich.

I dare you to try and do a TTM request with a NPB player next .
