Got my first success back of this year today (that was not Paul Posluzny).

I sent this one last season before I started tracking when I sent cards out and just got it today, so it was nice to come home to it. The entire upper left corner was ripped off of the envelope but the card still got here safe and sound!

I've shipped out an absolute ton of cards to Spring Trainings...hopefully they start coming back soon! I'm getting impatient.

As have I. I think I have sent out around 200 envelopes thus far, and 60 have been sent to spring training... GOT MY FINGERS CROSSED!

Wow nice Carrasco! That looks gorgeous. I just got back a Koji Uehara today but the USPS bent it in half... I still like it..
How are you keeping these TTM card autos?

I hate those stupid pager binders normally, but I think I might start one for these TTMs

Honestly, as of right now, I'm just putting them in a standard semi-rigid. I'm in the process of finishing my basement so that I have somewhere to display all of these when I get them back, along with all of my 8x10s, balls, etc.

oh yeah! thats what we forgot when building our house hehehe... a basement!

I have most of my vintage game used and photos in my computer/office room. I make sure 0% sunlight gets into that bad boy, but I would like to keep all the TTMS organized... ehhhh what to do, what to do..

Got a TTM today that I wasn't expecting. I shipped this one out long before I started tracking, so I have no idea how long its been. Even moreso, this isn't the card I sent out. I know, because it wasn't rubbed down.

Oh well, a return is a return! (it's a shame because he has a nice auto too)

An FYI (and a lot easier than rubbing glossy cards down) is just take a Magic Eraser to the surface of the card. It works great.

The one I sent was from 2008 Timeline (I think) heh I have a hunch that when he went on the DL, he opened them all, signed them all, and stuffed them all back in an envelope. heh Thanks though!

Wow. Has it really been since April that I posted something on this? Well, I got a nice semi-in-person today, but I want to get a scan in before I post it. I am loving this card.

The baby came and the stuff is getting up on my basement walls, so I'm getting back into TTM now that I have time...and I have around 20-30 new requests out since last week.

I'll post the card asap.

I happen to think that Lancaster might have one of the coolest autos in my collection.

Today netted me two more sucesses.

Mr. Billy Beane - 12 days

And this one has a little bit more story...

In browsing through the Harvey Miesman list for this year, I came across Mr. Bedell...he caught my eye because he only lived 3 streets away from me!

I just had to send off a card to him. I picked up a '61 RC card of his from COMC and mailed it off to him and he sent back my card auto'd, plus one of his own, both within a penny sleeve. Classy guy. In doing a little more research, his story is a little bit more fun that you'd expect. The man had three career RBI to his name. Two in 1961 for the Milwaukee Braves and one in 1968 for the Philadelphia Phillies... The one in '61 was a sac fly. What makes it so special is that that one RBI broke up Don Drysdale's scoreless inning streak at 58 2/3 innings. Not a bad piece of trivia, eh? ;D
