today brought 3. Lynn Johnston (for better or for worse cartoonist), Terry Francona (Spring Training TTM) and Dan O'Brien. The O'brien came with a card and a note. He paid for postage. He grew up down the street from my grandparents in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I made a little reference to that and maybe thats why he added the card. The front of the card has a picture of him at the olympics.

today brought Dick Butkus, Kelly Kulick and Stan Greenberg a national characiture artist (asked for a sketch, sent me a printout... still like it though!) ALSO! John91C sent me 10 of those artist sketch cards. I am going to be sending them all out today, so again thanks John I appreciate it! Nice to see another TTM'er in Washington

Awesome James Earl Jones! Hey on the Kelly Kulick did you send it in to the PBA address? I recently sent her a A&G as well...just haven't heard back in awhile!

today brought a pretty cool one. Steve Breen San Diego Tribune and two time Pulitzer Prize winner ('98 and '09) sent me a sketch of Obama like I was asking for. I thought it would be cool to give to my mom, but he put "For Dan" on it. I still might give it to her. Its pretty nice looking in person. These 8x10 sketches are turning out excellent. I have a bunch out, but not many have come back. Thanks guys!

Nice. BTW I have a quick story about personalization. I was at a Fergie Jenkins signing in town a couple years back, and I was getting a baseball signed for my brother (His name is Nate). When Mr. Jenkins asked who to sign it to I told him Nate, he said "Thanks, Nate" thinking I was getting it signed for myself. Obviously understandable but I thought it was funny.

Ron Ferdinand sent me an awesome 8x10 sketch of Dennis the Menace playing baseball. I asked if he could draw Dennis playing baseball for me and he did! Pretty sweet success it looks really cool in person.

the last 3 days have brought 4 success stories and a failure (Andre Dawson wants $30 for a signed photo...hahah yeah right!) Success was Mort Walker, Bob Feller, Al Unser, and Seth MacFarlane (preprint sketch)

I think the personalization and "giggity" are real but the rest are a pre-print. I found another where the signature is literally the same. Still nice though!
