pretty cool mailday today from the #6 oldest living player. 95 yr old Alex Pitko
He only played 11 games total, but played for the Phillies in 1938 and the Senators in 1939.

huge mailday today.... Mark Sanchez came back as a fail (oh well I will try again during season)

Don Lang 95yr old baseball player (sad actually, wife said he hands arent working real well )
Ted Lepcio with a nice note sent

John Rutherford (Nice to get a Brooklyn Dodger, not many of them left anymore)

Carl Erskine (Included his own card and a nice note)

Art Schult (sent two of his own photos with nice notes on the back, very nice of him)

Very very nice returns. When I read some of the things about the older players, it makes me kind of "tear up,". It was nice of Lang's wife to write that note to you.

I am thinking of maybe even sending cash or starbucks gift cards to the Older Negro League players and older MLB players to thank them for their time.

hey guys got a cool mailday from the oldest living baseball player (100yrs 191 days old) Tony Malinosky and a 53 reprint of Tony Bartirome

I just dumped 45 envelopes into the mailbox. A lot of Heisman winners, and 90s and early 2000s college football stars. All were 4x6s. Can anyone give me suggestions for 1987-2005 college football stars that didnt pan out in the league? I got a bunch but you guys might be able to com up with some that i couldnt... thanks

Dude way to go on the Malinosky! Can't wait to see how the 4x6's come out. How did they look coming out of the walmart online photo mat? Are they decent glossies? Can you post a scan of one if you can as an example if possible?

sorry bud, i already sent them all off. They look really nice they have a matte finish but are a little glossy. they sign great with a sharpie.. .ballpoint would be rough on them, but it still comes through... I try to get action shots as big as I can because they look a lot better coming out... make sure you use a gigantic sized pic and you should be golden

Right on buddy. I sent off 4 today and my hand is hurting from all the writing. Yes, I'm trying to use high resolution pics for the best quality. Can't believe you sent off 40+. Good luck!

i try to handwrite the ones I really really really want bad, but for the most part, I have a template I use that is pretty universal and just replace the names (i know its cheating, but I cant get as many out with the limited time I have between correcting papers and coaching )

How many bagillion requests do you plan on sending??

I think you can look at the Raiders first round picks the last 10 years; that'd be a good start. Also the Bengals.....and the Lions trio of receivers......

Those are the first that come to mind, and if I spent even 5 minutes thinking would probably come up with a laundry list. Good luck.

Akili and Joey are from my ducks I have in-person autos from both. I sent to Rashaan Ki-Jana, Heath Shuler and Biakabatuka. I will for sure look into those other guys. I am going to throttle back after this next wave of guys. I think I am going to try and start at the end of summer compiling a mass mailday to next years spring training. I also will be sending to several college football players in the next coming months.... other than that, I will be waiting for everything to come back in...

I'm all for sending as many TTMs as possible. There are just a bagillion good college players that didn't pan out in the NFL

I would have to agree with that self-note. They make for amazing college players, but thats all I really care about. Joey, Akili, Jason Fife, AJ Feely, Dennis Dixon, Jeremiah Masoli, and now Daren Thomas is going to be a stud Only one that panned out was Dan Fouts
