[QUOTE=danmecum51;4897986]This could be one of my best successes if it turns out to be authentic
Jack Nicklaus

Very nice, hope the one I got a few weeks ago is real too!

It looks legit, pressure looks good, looks like it's actually handwritten, almost worth it to send it for certification. I need to find something to send him now, that'd be a sweet addition to the OSU collection

I got the same thing, twice (I sent one to GB Enterprises, one to the Masters Locker Room), and they both look legit compared to the Leaf Metal Auto I pulled last year.

On a side note, I got another return from Arnold Palmer, also c/o the Masters Locker Room that looks far more legit than the usual autopens. I don't have anything real to compare it to at home, but the beginning of the A in Arnold doesn't have the same thickness the whole way through the curve that it seems to have for the autopens. Dan, your photo of the Jack/AP dual reminded me of that. I'll post some scans some time over the weekend.

tl;dr, I'm almost certain the Jack is legit, and that AP from the Masters Mens Locker Room could be as well.

Yeah that's what heard, Palmer was signing at the masters. Ill have to try next year since all three palmers I have are autopen. Which jack/ap were you talking about? I don't think I have one in my collection. Thanks for the post. I'd love to see your Palmer from this years masters.

I don't know how to multi-quote, but this one. It's in the bottom half of the photo. The AP I got from the Masters has the gradually thickening "A" stroke from that (presumptively) authentic auto. Unfortunately, the envelope the Masters AP came back in was mangled by the post office, so I didn't get a chance to check out the stamp cancelation origination point.

I've been meaning to scan some of my recent TTMs (the Jacks, APs, a Ryno) and a couple other things I've dug up from when I was a kid (Walter Payton sig on a Ken Stabler photo, I think). I'll try to get that done tonight, if not sometime over the weekend.

Oh, and Ian Poulter signed at the Masters as well, and I have no reason to think he won't sign if you send to another major tournament. He's very fan friendly when it comes to autos. He's the only one who didn't stiff me at the Ryder Cup, lol.

I really need to get a flag to get signed. I've always thought they look gorgeous. I will try my luck with Palmer if I can figure out which event he will be at next. My dad is a huge Arnold Palmer fan and my uncle watched him for like two hours one day down in Florida. He was at the bar near a putting green and arnold lined up like 25 balls and hit a shot from about 15 feet away over and over and over again. My uncle was baffled by it so he approached mr palmer when he was done and asked him why he only hit that one shot and palmer just said, "last night it was the only shot I missed that I should have made" and arnold smiled and winked at him. Thought that was pretty cool when my uncle told me about it. And it made me realize what separates a guy like Arnold and tiger and jack from people like me and others who don't approach things like that.

Jedd gyorko and the #1 QB selected in the draft EJ Manuel. Did not expect these back. Gives me hope some of the other big names roll in.

Two nice returns today Ryan Nassib signed in ballpoint pen and future top 5 pick clint frazier signed my ROMLB. I sent him a couple trashy baseball generic cards to sign and he included his own Perfect game all American auto card. Unfortunately it got dinged up a little. Last graded one sold for $75 so it was nice he'd include something like that. Super awesome of him to return the ball signed and throw in an extra.

Yeah me too! Not a big enough fan of him to go the 8x10 route though.

Good Luck!

Did you ask/hint about gloves, or just sent a big enough envelope that he included them? Sick stuff.

I honestly can't remember what I asked. It was last season right after I got his card back. It wasn't my envelop. This was sent well over a year ago

That's awesome! Did you send the Brown to his current team or to ST (not even sure if he was with the team in ST haha)?
