E-Mail Successes

I know I've been posting a lot lately, but I think it would be cool to have a thread devoted to e-mail autograph successes. If you have any, post 'em here!!!

This isn't a success, but I'll share anyway in case someone is interested. I emailed Jim Boeheim, the head basketball coach at Syracuse, and made an autograph request. I heard back from one of his representatives that said I can go to his website and buy one for $25. The money goes to his charity. I have several more out. I'll update as I go.

I don't do e-mail much, but a got a success from Kevin Martin, Houston Rockets guard, via his agent. I've also tried Y.A. Tittle, fromer Giants Quarterback, but haven't heard back yet.

I just received my first TTM auto-it's Mack Brown- I loathe Texas but I asked for him to personalize it to my nephew-he will love it for his 9th birthday

I sent out e-mails to Coach K, Mack, Eruzione, Steve Young, Jim Calhoun, Geno Auriemma, Nick Faldo, Prince Fielder, Jim Boeheim and Vince Papale (Invincible movie) today. I haven't heard anything back though. Should I expect a response, or just wait until I see it in my mailbox? I gave them my address, so I'm not sure if I'm good or not.

First response from the 10 I sent out came in today via e-mail. I had read about an e-mail success from Prince Fielder, and e-mailed the address. This is what came back:
Dear BREWERS fan,

The Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club relies on your support each and every day and would like to thank you for it. Unfortunately, we do not send out players’ autographs. It would be too much of a strain on the players and our staff.

If you wish to obtain an autograph of a current Milwaukee Brewer the best option would be to send an item or letter with a self addressed and stamped envelope to the following address:

One Brewers Way

Milwaukee, WI 53214

Due to the large number of requests a player receives daily nothing can be guaranteed. Also, any items sent to the player may not be returned, the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club holds no responsibility for lost or stolen mail.

I looked again at the success, and it came in a fan pack from the Brewers. I might try that and see if I can pick up an auto.

Well, first "success" came in today. Mack Brown via e-mail, sent in 4 days. Pretty quick, but I am afraid it's a preprint. I'll get a pic up soon, so tell me what you think!

You can find it on his website I think...just google it and look for "Contact Info" on the bottom.
