Mailday TTM: Killer find!

guys, I had to post this quick. This is by far the best TTM I probably will ever get. My favorite actor, Clint Eastwood. I sent a nice heartfelt letter to him and mentioned that the first time I ever seen my father-in-law cried was in Gran Torino. I sent the black and white photo and Mr. Eastwood sent me an extra photo and a nice typed letter. What an amazing day to pick up the mail. He also asked me not to share his address with anyone because he has been getting overwhelmed with mail.

Here is the loot (will post in my own thread):

He couldn't be some of those because he was able to find this to begin with as it's one of the oldest TTM threads on here. :D

He's new. I'm guessing he's a TTMer who just found this site.

Grizzly 12-02-2010 01:49 PM

Zacky1053, you are correct.

First time visitor, but longtime TTMer, starting in 1991.

then whats the big deal with a new member? Sometimes people on here drive me crazy. Being a new member of the site must give the veteran members the entitlement of calling the newbies a retard... Stay classy forum members.... stay classy. :)!

On a side note, I welcome you to our site, and I hope you enjoy the more educated resourceful members. I have found most of the members are well educated on the hobby, a good source for information, and generally nice. There are some trolls on this site, and they will be sure to show their faces wherever they can degrade someone.

I encourage new members. It helps me keep up with active signers, and gives me ideas on future TTM attempts. Also, I love seeing the items that get signed..... The TTM section has100% good guys....

God speed people

Eastwood asked that he NOT share his address!! Forget it, you are the one that said that!

Sorry I read your post incorrectly. I didn't see the word "big" in your post which changes the context. Probably partially like I suggested that this was dug out of the depths of the TTM database, and two, I guess perhaps people weren't sure how serious you were when you said he didn't want you giving out the address. (The rolling eyes face might throw some people off. I know well enough sarcasm can be very difficult at times to detect on these boards).

Grizzly 12-02-2010 02:34 PM

Danmecum51, I apologize for the unneeded attention my question posed. I skimmed over the post originally and missed the comment about not sharing the address. I appreciate the response.

oh i see now. Well I am 99.9% sure that this is a secretarial and the message I got was generic because i tried clint again, and got the same letter. so its no biggy anymore... it is now listed on startiger...

I guess him making a mistake allows us to call him a retard, illiterate, etc. Gotcha... I guess I am in the wrong.

Here is the one I used
846 Stradella Road

here is the one with a ton of successes

4000 Warner Boulevard #16
Burbank, CA 91522

mindbinge 12-02-2010 02:47 PM

sadly, eastwood doesn't sign TTM anymore and hasn't in years...everything you get is usually secretarial or autopen...there have been tons of discussions and pics to support it on Tested Celebrity Addresses - Collect Autographs - Manage Your Collection at StarTiger

that's not to say you can't get a legit sig in the mail...but the odds are very slim to none.

It's still cool, you get a nice looking pic and something directly from his office, just don't think it's real and if you have something already signed legit by someone else, I wouldn't mess it up thinking you will get a real sig back from Clint.

sorry for being a jerk. It just gets on my nerves when something like I can't give out his address is responded to with can I get his address. I apoligize to danmecum51 for "trolling" your thread, and to grizzly for suggesting that you were less than intelligent.

no problem, i teach special ed, and the word retard really gets under my skin. I hear it all the time and shouldnt let it get to me, because i know 99% of the people wouldnt actually try to offend a mentally challenged person. I am the same way with the word gay or fag. Maybe I am being too sensitive..
