To answer your question a wee late, Crick was very reluctant and only signed 1/1 for me and one other despite there being at least a dozen graphers. They said the previous night he didn't sign at all... some bad excuse about them getting mad at him if he held up the bus.

Blackburn was fine, doing 2/2 (cards) for plenty of people but he side paneled a few balls and wouldn't sign blanks.

In other news, got back just one more ttm since my last return last monday, this time 1/1 from Nick Tepesch. Signed and personalized my 2013 Prizm in black, looks nice 56 days

No ttms today, but I did get a bought auto (if that means anything). I wrote to Adeiny Hechavarria a few times before and I know he's not a good signer AT ALL. So I was quick to jump on a 2014 Adeiny signed Gypsy Queen for the STEEP price of like $2. I love to collect Cuban graphs, and I think this is a cool one to have, even if it's certified I'll put up pic later if I get any ttms soon.

1/1 from Slash today! I wouldn't call myself a fan of his music, but I was quite big on Guitar Hero back in the day. I thought this would be a nice add to the collection! Goes along nicely with my PS3 cover signed by "Nathan Drake"

Also pictured; my recent purchase (2014 Gypsy Cert Hechavarria)

Gaaaah!! I swear Slash hates me. I have sent him at least 3 times over the past couple years with zero response. Congrats though! It looks great!!

Back again with finally more returns! Baseball-wise, got 2/2 from Kirk Nieuwenhuis (Topps 2013 Heritage, base) in 56 days and a rather amusing failure from Will Middlebrooks. I sent out to him in April of 2013, so this pp and form response comes in at over 420 days! lol

Also, recently started up on a 'Star Wars' collection. I bought a bunch of these Star Wars trading cards online from Europe and sent out a bunch of them to the featured actors on them last week, getting my first return today! 1/1 from actor Jimmy Smits. Wish it didn't smudge slightly, but hey it's still really awesome. Jimmy Smits is an insanely nice guy! 8 days!

You may have noticed I've gotten personalisations to both "Andy" and "Andrew", I write Andy in the letters in and Andrew on the envelope. It's interesting to see how they personalize.

2/2 today from Rangers pitcher Neal Cotts in 78 days. He had a fantastic season last year, pitching 58 games of relief to the tune of a 1.11 ERA, 0.947 whip, 10.3 k/9, and netting 8 wins. Not bad, considering it was his first return to the majors in 4 years, and his age 33 season. From his 23-29 age seasons, he only averaged 41 games a season, 1.467 whip, 4.63 ERA, and 8.3 k/8.

Unfortunately, like most of my other Rangers, he's sort of declined this season, what with his 1.47 whip, and 3.67 era. It looks like even though he's throwing more strikeouts, he also seems to be giving up more walks and hits. Still a cool success, these were items I had with me at ST but I couldn't get signed. Figured I'd mail it and try my best.

Nice to know about Elmore. He's on my short list, so I'll just send the one card.

I love the panini prizm red cards, I've been trying to collect a few of those signed. I was disappointed he didn't sign it! Only the 2013 Topps. Oh well!

1 more ttm today, 2/2 Pat Kivlehan in 32 days. I really like his signature! puts me to 38% of my current MLB/MILB sendouts this year.

Haha, I know what you mean. I have a 2013 Prizm dupe I want to get signed, but I'd also like to get one with a proper Astros uniform. Not to be greedy, but it almost makes me wonder if I should write him twice.

1/1 today, another return for my "Star Wars" collection - from Ms. Amy Allen, who appeared in Episodes II and III briefly. I had a card of her and heard she was a good signer, so I thought it would be cool to try.

Going down to NB at night, hoping to catch Aaron Hicks after the game (and maybe Eddie Rosario and a few other Rock Cats I'm behind on).

UPDATE: Came back 3/3 what I wanted, got Severino Gonzalez SP on Eastern League ball AND Hicks + Rosario on cards (2013 Pinnacle and 2013 Bowman Platinum). Very awesome! I'll be back in NB on tuesday for Altoona, I'm really hoping to get Yang Yao Hsun!

Got another Star Wars return today, 2/2 from Matthew Wood (many voices across the newer films), signed my General Grievous cards in silver.

I know this question has surely been asked before, but what do you guys prefer for photos, silver or gold? I went to my Staples nearby to pickup a silver but I was only able to buy the multi-pack containing bronze, gold, and silver. Which is better? And is it completely insane to want to use them on cards?

Anywho, yes headed to NB tomorrow for Altoona Curve. My targets:

-Joely Rodriguez (4x6)
-Zack Dodson (card)
-Yang Yao-hsun (ROMLB and 4x6s)

-Elias Diaz (4x6)
-Alen Hanson (card)
-Stetson Allie (card)
-Gift Ngoepe (card)
-Jarek Cunningham (card)
-Matt Curry (card)

-Keon Broxton (card)
-Willy Garcia (card)

Not completely insane...I have not had good luck with them though.
Those ones seem to streak a lot more than blue ones when the person is doing a quick autograph.

Got back from Altoona @ NB, came away perfecto! 11/11 with my items in total. Included here are pics of my two recent Star Wars ttms and my 3 successes from Saturday night in NB.

I had a few things (pictures and ball) for Taiwanese star Yang Yao-Hsun but ended up only with the ball, as I'm fine with it and didn't feel like bugging him for more The other ball is a game used Eastern League one sweet spotted by Phils prospect Severino Gonzalez. The photos are 4x6s of Elias Diaz and Joely Rodriguez. The two Twins cards are Rock Cats I netted on Saturday night (same night as Severino ball). Aaron Hicks and Eddie Rosario. It's been a great month so far! Now, I'm looking at hitting up B-mets post game next week!

If in some way you didn't see it, I made a separate thread about my potential Eastern League AS game offer. For two days in July I'm going out with my folks to Altoona and catching both days of AA EL fanfare, the charity game (with three former Pirates)/home run derby, and the team signing and AS game. Once the rosters are announced (sometime next week) I'll start to take offers for possible consignment/50-50. More details soon.

....something weird happened with the last picture, looks like it was taken underwater.. lol.

1/1 today from Rob Refsnyder (Yankees prospect) in 8 days! I sent him one of those 2013 USA baseball cards and he must have taken it on the road with him. Unfortunately, he signed it in ballpoint.... but still, a nice success

1/1 today from Jason Castro, in 65 days. Very happy about this one, he's easily one of my favourite players! Signed a 2014 Topps in nice blue.

Very interesting mailday today, especially after yesterday where the truck stopped but no mail was left (?). Back in February I heard the Red Sox signed a veteran late-thirty something Japanese reliever named Shunsuke Watanabe. I found a 2006 WBC card of him with the intention of sending to to Pawtucket at the start of the season, but he was silently released in early March and seemingly fell off the face of the earth. That is, until I found that he signed with some indy team from Lancaster, Pennsylvania ~ so I sent there and now 65 days later I get my card back and signed!

I also have a bunch of Rangers stuff I brought with me to ST this past spring in hopes of getting signed left over (unsigned) that I've been occasionally mailing to the club/affiliates. Some of it I have gotten back (Scheppers, Martin, Adduci, Alex Gonzalez, Tepesch, Cotts, still waiting on Moreland, Nick Williams, Ross, Arencibia x2). Today added 1/2 from Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos. I sent him a 4x6 and Bowman Chrome, but he only signed the chrome. Probably for the better since it's near-perfect and the 4x6 is really damaged. Good thing the card was well protected by it lol.

I have tickets to the Binghamton game tonight in NB, but the weather is not looking good. disappointing since it's the last game they play in NB this year and it was the only day I was free. Last night's game was canceled and rescheduled to today for a double-header, so I'll go to both and hope for the best. Tonight's game is supposed to be Ynoa's first AA start! Really praying for Nimmo, Matz, Ynoa, Lara, Robles, and Dilson Herrera!

Thank you!

Very satisfied overall, got everybody (except 2) I was looking for. The first game of the double-header went pretty smoothly but the second game had no chance of happening. I only missed out on Hansel Robles and Matthew Bowman, but netted: Boyd, Burgamy, Nimmo, Herrera, Matz, Lara, Taijeron, Cuan, Ynoa, Pill, and Leathersich all on cards. Fun night anyway, even if the rain was insane. Pics on next success ttm.

Really wonder why Burns hasn't been brought up to the main roster. I'd put his speed up there with Hamilton's and Gordon's. Nice one.

Two more ttms today - in exactly a week since last return. I got 4/2 from Ben Zobrist (55 days) and 1/1 from Kendry Flores (12 days). Sent Zobrist two cards, asking for one to be made out to a friend of mine and the other to me, he returned those signed but unpersonalized - sent two additional "faith" cards and those were both individually personalized. I'm looking to hit up the Reading Phils in New Britain again this weekend, I'd like to get Raywilly Gomez, Chris Bootcheck, Adam Loewen, and maybe Biddle and Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez again. I'd like to think I'm sort of doing a little collection of signed baseballs from different nationality players, I have Taiwan and Panama so far and would definitely like to add Cuba if I can. If you didnt see it, I got Gonzalez 1/1 ttm during ST, but I had no idea he'd be in AA now like he is, so I want to take that opportunity to maybe see him in person and talk to him.

And next week I'm doing the Altoona All Star thingy! I really want Steven Moya, the Bowie guys, and the other futures game guys. Hoping that I'll be able to buy the team card set while I'm there, since some of the guys i most want have nothing...
