Default Getting Baseballs Signed

Definitely love seeing signed baseballs.

I went to the store to price ROMLB's and they are a little pricey for me atm.

When getting balls signed for a personal collection, is there a good quality ball that is similar and will hold an auto that may cost a little less?

Try maybe an official league ball or something. Players sign things other than ROMLB's.

Yeah, I just had some cheap ones from Target for a game once and the ball just didn't feel as nice as a ROMLB and the auto faded after a few months.

You get what you pay for with ROMLB. Just saying.

See if Target will price match the ones Walmart has online.

edit: nevermind. They used to have cubed ones online for like $12 each and you could have Target price match them. However it looks like they were raised to 19.99 each

Best bet is to look on eBay, especially auctions.

Jeez, it's been a few years, but I used to get these for $10 a pop just 5 years ago or so at the sporting goods store. At $20, that'd get expensive real quick!

For example, I looked on Eastbay and there were Rawlings collegiate balls that look almost identical to major league balls. They run like $70 a dozen which I thought was okay. Just wondered if collegiate balls are made with the same materials and if I get a sweet spot signature will it really matter.

This is absolutely true. There's a reason people swear by ROMLBs with no legitimate alternative.

Meijer has the cubed ROMLB for 14.99.

They are also out there uncubed which I'd assume would make them a little cheaper

It doesn't list the price, what is the price after checkout and whatnot?
