Default Anyone doing any spring training graphing?

I am going down to AZ this year as per normal to do some graphing probably going to try to hit up 1-3 teams a day for practices. I spend most of my time at the M's complex as I feel this is some of the best graphing out there, I also try to hit up the White Sox as that is easy. So my question is anyone doing any graphing out in the desert this year?

I am also doing it bro! I'll be in AZ again this year from the 8th to the 21st. Peoria is the best! I'm a little worried though the Padres and White Sox are going to be more crowded and tougher this year

Yeah the Padres are going to be insane which will be weird.

Though they have such easy access during practices it kinda insane.

I have been to the Rangers place annually, and they've only gotten harder to get as they've gotten worse on the field. I was there 5 straight days last year and could only get Yu and Andrus, who I only ever get. I got Ivan Rodriguez, Michael Young, Derek Holland, Matt Harrison, Neftali Feliz, Josh Hamilton, Leonys Martin, Profar and others in previous years. I don't know, but they were especially difficult in 2014. I usually only go there like twice on a whole trip, but I was there as I said like 5 straight wasted days. At least Gallo Alfaro and the minors guys still sign by the truckload

I was only there once on their side when I was there (I usually do Mariners instead, which is always good for pitchers and smaller fries) and I will say I don't like their set up, but I did do really well that one day otherwise. Like with the White Sox who I only saw twice, I got almost all the starters which really caught me by surprise - I used to go down there full on for pretty much just Mariners and Rangers but my best successes last year were with Pads and White Sox... I plan on seeing like 10 games at Peoria during my stay otherwise I don't know if this is true, but I have heard Wil Myers is a good in person signer. I always kind of thought of him like the AL Bryce Harper, who I know is crazy tough. 2015 ST should be a blast though!

I will go to Washington Nationals Spring Training in Viera this year. Seeing 3 games and they are all at home. Last time I went was 2 years ago, and I got the holygrail of my PC, a Stephen Strasburg signed ball on the sweet spot!

I am very excited for this year and can't wait, ST is closer than we think!

Maybe I'll go this year to see the new Padres lol. I bet fan fest and Peoria will be packed. Plus I'm sure the defending world series champs camp will be busy.

I think I have been to almost all the AZ spring training facilities. The easiest are Goodyear and Surprise (though perhaps not anymore). The worst is Scottsdale.

It is also easier to do in February before they start playing games.

February might be the better time for getting autographs, but I like seeing the Nats play baseball games.

I've gone to the Rangers the past 2 years. Getting the top 2 or 3 position players on the team is usually pretty difficult as they stay on one field that exits out the back where you don't have access. Only way you get them is if they decide to step out and sign. In two years I haven't seen Beltre sign and last year Fielder didn't sign either at the practice field. Best bet for those guys is at the game prior to start. They will sign then.

Pitchers rotate from field to field every day so you can get them while they walk back and forth. Was able to get Darvish last year. There is some luck involved on getting him as it's a mob scene when he does start signing. We did get lucky and got Greg Maddux there as he is typically helping out.

Any player on the minor league fields are wide open. You can get every top prospect without a problem usually.

My kids wanted to go to Peoria one day this year so any advice on M's and Padres would be nice. Also any advice on Rockies/Dbacks as we may go there one day also. My kids love surprise because they access is wide open for the most part. They are looking for that type of set up. We did Dodgers last year one day and they didn't like it. Too crowded and they really restrict your access (even though the got McGwire and Kershaw).

I'm so jealous of all of you who get to go. Being a teacher, can't take time off during those months, especially with coaching.

But, if possible, I would love to do some 50/50

I'll return the favor for the Midwest League!

Just letting everyone know, I won't/can't take 50/50 for ST. I am unsure of the players, and how much they sign etc. I will make a IP thread for 2015, and I will post in the thread when I can do 50/50 for the minor league season (Midwest League)
