Default Sending Baseballs TTM

A few years ago, I sent out roughly 15-20 baseballs TTM and they all came back. I just started getting back into the hobby of sending baseballs TTM to my favorite minor leaguers and the occasional major league rookie. I sent out 7 yesterday and today from a case of (12) Rawlings OMLB I bought.

Anyone else send baseballs TTM? I'd love to hear your best stories of who you got TTM and if you send out often. Good luck!

I have sent out 2 thus far....

Wieters....who signed and Strasburg (I sent it while he was in AA about a week before he was called up to AAA) who I have not received back and not really holding my breath at this point. I will send more out after I move in a couple weeks!

How much does it cost out and SASE to send a baseball TTM, and what size box do you use?

Personally I wouldn't even try getting a Strasburg auto TTM but I guess anything's possible.

I normally just do cards but I had to send to Posey during ST because people were getting him back pretty consistently. Luckily for me I did get mine back and it is a super clean sig with his # inscribed too. I've heard he stopped doing ttm recently too so glad I got him before he stopped.

Do you use a case, or just the ball

I wouldn't try now, but he was signing balls TTM in double A for awhile...I figured he was worth the gamble at that point.

What I do is get some $1, 5c stamps and 2 c stamps. The total to mail a baseball back in a small 6 x 9 Size 0 bubble mailer is $2.07. I put the baseball, pen, letter and SASE in a bigger bubble mailer and just mail that all out. I just back another one today from former LSU star Matt Clark. He's also the Texas League HR champ in Double-A San Antonio for the Padres.
