The Complete Allen & Ginter 2010 350 card quest!

I am trying to get the entire set autographed by the pictured person, or someone associated with the person on the card.(or whatever in the case of revolving door, which I still need to figure out)

WOW, I am trying to do the same thing!! Maybe we can team up if we have doubles IP, or whatever. So far I have:

and prob. a couple more, I have a pile of recent TTMs that have gotten back. It is helpful to check out others' threads to see who they've gotten back TTM...

Yep. I'm really hoping I can at least get 90% of it if not more.

Nice suggestion Dan! That's pretty much the only one I'm unsure about. I'm planning on trying to get Paul McCartney through a friend in the UK for the card of Lucy since she was named after a Beatles song.

Also, I am including a handwritten letter with each card explaining why I am requesting the autograph and that stuff.

Just FYI - Neither Paul McCartney nor Ringo Starr sign autographs through the mail anymore. But I'm sure there are other options available for that card that you can come up with.

what are you doing for Betelgeuse, isaac newton, king tut, Galileo, Gutenburg, Captain Nemo, Jules Verne, X-Rays, The Parthenon, and Area 51? You could come up with some pretty cool ideas for some of those, but X-Rays? and the Parthenon hahah could get messy

X-ray: I was thinking about finding an X-ray doctor and getting them to sign it or something.

I'm still working on the ideas for those.

I'm currently in my second year of school to become an XRay tech, does this count?

my wife is a CT Tech, so that would count as well heheh. Try and get an auto of someone who has X-rayed someone famous like Tiger Woods Doctor that x-rayed his bashed skull after Elin blasted him with a sandwedge

Got the Tony Hawk card back today with what looks like a preprint and a note saying that they can't accept items to be signed. Lame.

Sorry, I hadn't been on in 4 months or so.

I got the Jordin Sparks one back in January, and the Shawn Johnson one back a week or two ago.

Still waiting on Dan Brown, and I've pretty much given up hope on Drew Brees.

Dr. Robert Jarvik signs TTM ....He invented the artificial heart, and might be a good one to sign it

Where did you send the Jordin Sparks? She is one that I have not gotten yet. Although I did send one somewhere, can't remember. Just so you know, I too am a collector of the Allen & Ginter autos. I collect mostly 2008 but have been sending all years out. I have gotten many of the obscure sports if you need help with addresses.

In addition, if you go to tradingcardcentral.com, there is a guy who goes by zedsls who is a huge ginter graph collector. He has an extensive collection if you want to check him out.

tony hawks is preprinted photos cause everytime i sent to him thats what i got back

dude that Zedsls collection is unreal! His Ginter set puts my entire collection to shame!

I emailed him about 5 moinths ago and he said he would sign my card from the 09 Topps Mayo football set, but never received it.
