-Honestly, i don't know why post-war pricing favors PSA. There's the annual membership fee, but that's artificial gatekeeping. They also have the registry thing, a couple of registry holders can bid up and drive prices.
SGC used to be a bit easier on centering issues with their grades, but i read somewhere they had tightened that up. At this point i haven't read anything that provides a logical answer to the difference other than collector whim and preference. lobo_hacker |

one example of this would be 1955 Topps Dick Groat. In psa 8 its selling for around 1.2k while a sgc 88 8 sells between 450-700. The centering issue of sgc may be a factor but sgc has only graded 3 at this level and psa has 9.
