Default How much value does a rubbed magic answer lose??

So just wondering after looking at the back of my '65 Pete Rose and wondering what kind of value drops with the magic answer part rubbed?? And would those still be worth grading?? How much of an impact does it have on the grade (PSA)??

-I kind of pride myself on knowing about vintage stuff, but i have to be honest; i have no clue what a "Magic Answer" card is.

Are you talking about the cards that had scratch-off heads? I remember the Mantle had a scratchable foot-ball helmet-type thing on it wherein i suppose you were supposed to guess the player? I don't think it was a 1965 though, but my old memory could be failing.

Happy to help but 'magic answer' doesn't ring a bell.

lobo_hacker, who perhaps doesn't know vintage as much as he thought he did

I believe he's referencing the "nickel rub" backs that are prevalent on the 60's Topps cards

I guess if you got it graded it would be considered surface damage. Doesn't affect value too much.
